Great looking and sturdy latch for the stylish barn door. It works great and keeping the door shut and "locked". The barn style doors can get pushed if they don't have a bottom track so not sure how "locked" this is, but it does at least keep the door shut and indicate that it should be treated as "locked" Pretty simple to install with just a phillips screw drive or use a simple drill and bit. Very strong metal and works nicely. Good pricing.

This zinc alloy 90-degree right angle barn door lock works well as a reliable flip latch. The heavy-duty construction feels solid, preventing the door from being easily opened from the outside. Installation was straightforward with the included screws. It flips smoothly to lock and unlock, and the coating should hold up decently against outdoor exposure. It performs its main job effectively for the price, though the flip mechanism feels a bit basic and could be smoother over time. Overall, these are a good value if you need the 90-degree configuration.

This right angle barn door lock turned out to be exactly what I needed. I installed it on a half door to keep my four dogs from getting into the wrong side of the house, and it solved a problem I had been dealing with for a while. Before this, I was using a magnetic catch, but one of the dogs figured out she could just bump it open with her head. This latch is much more secure and does not give them that same opportunity. Once it is latched, it stays put.Installation was very easy and did not take much time. It lined up well and feels sturdy once in place, which adds to the confidence that it will hold up with daily use.Overall, it is a simple, effective solution that does exactly what it is supposed to do.The current price of this 90-degree right angle barn door lock is $9.88 USD, which is a great value for a sturdy and reliable latch that solves a real problem.

I got the “90 Degree Right Angle Barn Door Lock, Zinc Alloy Flip Gate Latches… (1, Black)” priced at about $10 at rime of ordering for my bathroom barn door. Unfortunately, this doesn’t fit my barn door because the trim pushes the door too far from the wall. It looks like it should work for my pantry, so I’ll probably use it there once my baby is tall enough and wise enough to open doors.Piece 1 is about 15/16” wide and 3 and 1/8” long, with a latch arm between 1 and 3/4” and 1 and 7/8”. Piece 2 is a little under 3/4” wide and also about 3 and 1/8” long. Both have screw holes spaced about 2 about 1/4” apart from the center of the holes. However, my latch arm measured slightly longer than the 1.63” shown in the listing. I would need a much longer latch arm for this lock to work for me.The one‑sided locking mechanism is another limitation that makes this better suited for cabinets or gates than doors.Overall, the quality seems good for the price, but the design is very specific. Measure your door‑to‑wall gap before buying, and make sure you’re ok with a one‑sided lock. Make sure you know exactly what you want to use this for and consider the functionality of a one side lock before you get this item.More details:This arrived in a small plastic box with the two pieces, four screws, and no instructions. The hardware is a matte black finish that matches my other matte black hardware. The metal has a solid, medium weight. The hinge moves smoothly with light resistance and stays wherever you leave it. There are no sharp edges, there is no gritty movement, and if doesn’t feel cheap. The latch feels sturdy enough for light use, and it shouldn’t rattle if mounted on the wall side. It can be installed left‑ or right‑handed.
