This was far more heavy duty than I expected. Easy to install and hundreds of uses.

[Color Name: Red]
This was far more heavy duty than I expected. I installed it on a IBC Tank with the aluminum frame. I repurposed one that I found at an auction. I store tumbling media that I use in polishing aluminum and load it from the top but unload through this gate. I plan to get a few more for our farm. Perfect for grain and feed bins. Installation was very easy and works wonderfully. My daughter has a theaters and fell in love with this setup. She sells 200+ pounds of pop corn weekly. She has been using the 35# bags for storage and use but they are always in the way and who wants popcorn that has been stored on the floor. I will be building her wooden boxes that store overhead and with these gates, she can dispense the needed amounts when she wants it.

Repurpose IBC Totes

[Color Name: Red]
We wanted this to turn IBC totes into grain bins, and it works great for that purpose.I wanted bins that I could fill and place near various pens so I am not lugging feed to each pen every day. This makes that setup much more practical. The slide gate works well for controlling the flow of grain or feed, and it feels sturdy enough for farm use. It opens and closes like it should and makes dispensing feed much easier.I did need to build a platform to raise the totes up for easier access, so that is something to plan for depending on how you are using it.My final thoughts are that this is a great grain gate for converting IBC totes into practical feed bins. It works well, feels sturdy, and makes feeding different pens around the farm much easier. I will definitely purchase additional gates for more totes.

A much better deal than the standard gravity grain systems

[Color Name: Red]
This is a really cool invention. It is allowing me to do a DIY modification to my rainwater collection system. I ended up with too many IBC totes. And as I am getting more chickens and ducks with plans on adding other species to my flock, I wanted to have my own grain silo of sorts. This way I can buy things in more bulk and then just disperse them in quantities into buckets that I open daily. This includes the basic components. Obviously you will need to cut the hole yourself if you don't have one already designed for this. I believe there are already ones that have a compatible hole in them. However mine just has a spigot in this location. However the material is very easy to work with so I just used a drill and then a jigsaw after the pilot holes were made in the corners. This grips on very tightly. It seems to have a pretty good seal in between the frame and the slider. So far it seems to be doing good with keeping the grains fresh. I just dumped in 150 gallon bag just to determine if it would keep out some air and moisture to ensure I wasn't wasting food. So far so good. It's on the pricey side, however it's incredibly heavy duty and well-made. It slides smoothly and locks into place strongly so I feel confident it should stand the test of time. This conversion is still much cheaper than purchasing the large gravity feed bins that are exclusively made for that purpose.

Functional, but installation requires specific surface considerations.Functional, but installatio...

[Color Name: Red, Color Name: Red]
This access door is well-built and features heavy-duty materials, making it versatile for various container types. I am currently using it as an access point for coal storage. The included reinforcement backing strips were a helpful addition, especially since I installed this on a thinner surface. It is a solid, moderately sized gate that serves its purpose well. However, the design has a significant limitation: the sliding mechanism relies entirely on the surface you mount it to. There is no integrated track or rail on the outer frame to keep the door from falling backward; therefore, you must mount it over an opening smaller than the door itself to ensure it stays in place. Furthermore, my unit arrived slightly warped. When I mounted it onto a plywood face, the door rubbed against the wood, making it quite difficult to slide open and closed. While this likely wouldn't be an issue if mounting on a more flexible surface like an IBC tote, it proved frustrating for my application. Overall, it is a decent product if your specific setup can accommodate its design constraints. The material itself feels $40-$45 area worthy, but the functionality and construction still needs work in my opinion.

Good grain gate

[Color Name: Red]
We like this. It’s a sturdy design, thick metal. It slides easy once installed. And installation was a breeze, too. The red on everything looks good and provides some good protection against the elements.

Title: Exceptionally Sturdy, Reliable Performance, and Straightforward Installation for Demanding Farm UseReview: I am thoroughly impressed with the overall build quality and robust engineering of this heavy-duty sliding grain gate. It is clearly constructed to stand the test of time, featuring high-grade, durable materials that feel rugged enough to withstand the intense daily wear and tear of a demanding farm environment. I was pleasantly surprised by how simple and straightforward the installation process turned out to be; it took very little effort and time to securely mount it to our existing IBC tote storage area, and it fits perfectly without needing any complex modifications or additional hardware. Once installed, the sliding mechanism operated consistently and smoothly without any sticking or jamming, providing the exact level of security and operational reliability that we absolutely require for our facility. The bright red finish is also high-quality and appears quite resistant to chipping or premature rusting, which is absolutely vital for any equipment intended for consistent outdoor use. This is a high-performance, professional-grade product that is truly built to last through years of hard work. I am extremely satisfied with the value it provides, and I would highly recommend this gate to any fellow professional, rancher, or farmer currently in the market for a functional, well-designed, and durable solution that is both incredibly easy to set up and engineered for long-term, dependable longevity in a tough agricultural setting.
