These aluminum safety padlocks came exactly when I needed them. I'm in the process of moving and the storage facility requires us to have padlocks. These work great! They are heavy duty, solid and a great value for five of them. Super pleased.

I picked up these locks to use on several footlockers where I store Christmas gifts throughout the year. With grandchildren around, it is nice to have a simple way to keep curious little hands out of the trunks until the holidays arrive.These locks are easy to open and lock, and I like that the key stays in the lock when unlocked. That helps prevent accidentally locking it without the key handy. Each lock comes with two keys, which is always appreciated in case one gets misplaced.The locks have a good weight to them and feel smooth during operation. The red color is bright and easy to spot, and I plan to color-coordinate the keys with matching dots of nail polish so I can quickly identify which key belongs to which lock.Overall, these appear to be well-made locks with good quality construction. They are easy to use, operate smoothly, and meet my storage needs.

These locks are far better qualities than the you can buy at Dollar Tree. It is not quite as thick and heavy as the Mater lock, but for the listed price for 5 lock, this is a good security lock thus a good value. I have the yellow version, it is bright and easy to spot. It seemed to made of aluminum alloy, so it is even better than brass from a rusting protection. It is got a 1.75" lock loop, so it has more situational use than the short ones sold elsewhere. These locks are keyed differently so it has better for situations where you need different locks with different key for better security. This vendor does not offer a Keyed Alike version for the same model, I check their website. So, if you have a need for keyed alike, you will need to elsewhere. Overall, a solid keyed differently lock, well made, a good value.

This set of five aluminum safety padlocks are extremely nice in terms of quality and appearance. I know that appearance really is not top of a mind when you think about buying a padlock but, if you have something like a high dollar car carrier or something that you are appearance conscious about then these locks are perfect for you. Aside from coming in five different colors, they are well built and corrosion resistant due to the aluminum construction. They are also key differently which is nice just in case you happen to lose a set of keys. This way you don't have to discard the entire set of locks. These locks are designed for lockout tag out purposes and have the "key in" feature which prevents the keys from being removed while the shackle is open. Speaking of which, the shackles are Chrome plated hardened steel and1-1/2"long and 1/4" in diameter. The cylinders are six-pin type which makes them perfect for high security and being tamper-proof.The locks come in a pack of five and as I indicated are all key differently. Each lock comes with two keys. These are super nice locks that are economically priced at under $30. Definitely something that any shop should have just in case you need to lock something up on the fly.

This is a decent set of solid locks. There's not much else to say about them. They do exactly what they were designed for.
