I had originally gotten this LED floor lamp to place behind my desk, but after seeing how large and bright it is, I've decided to use it as a whole-room light for my living room when I have people over. The height is fixed and non-adjustable at roughly 6 foot 4 once the lamp has been assembled. Putting it together was very easy. I'd say the only hard part is stuffing the extra bit of cord into the lamp body after joining the connectors. The body appears to be all metal, which means the lamp is incredibly stable and solid but a bit heavy to move.I do like the brightness adjustment and power controls built into the lamp body. It's a modern touch interface that makes it easy to adjust the brightness and turn the lamp on/off. Overall, it looks very modern and provides a ton of light, easily enough to light up a large room. Just keep in mind that the legs stick out a bit, so you'll likely want to place this lamp behind a sofa or table so that they're hidden. It's currently priced at $170, which is expensive but probably on par with a comparable large and bright floor lamp. I recommend it.

Pretty solid LED floor lamp. My wife got it for her home office as she wanted more flexibility with how much light she has. The base is pretty heavy so once you have it where you want there is almost no chance of it falling over. You could also put something heavy on it to make sure it stays put if you wanted to. I assembled it myself in about 15 mins...a little bit difficult to do alone but doable...easier if you have someone help you for sure. Has lights on both the top and bottom. If you want more indirect soft light you can use the top..for more direct and much brighter light use the bottom. The dimmer is a little sensitive and takes a bit to get used to but once you've used it a few times you'll get it to whatever setting you want quickly. Overall a good value...works really well and is free standing so you can move it anywhere you want. Thumbs up!
