I was looking for an upgrade to my floor vents and these hit the spot. Great material and the appearance is nice. These allow a bit more air through than my original plastic cheap ones that were already here. The only reason for deducting 1 star is I'm not a fan of the screw holes on the side. These can be secured to the floor but if you do that, you will have these industrial looking screws popping out and if these are on carpet, you will press the carpet in deeply and it will look weird. Aside from that, great option to upgrade your vents.

These floor vent covers are adjustable, the color is perfect for my bathroom floor which is like a charcoal gray. They blend in beautifully. They are extremely well made and durable. They fit the style of my bathroom quite well. Of course their vent covers, so they're very easy to use you just slip them into place and drop them down over the vent holes and you now have a cover. I love how they are more narrow than the old style so stuff doesn't fall into the cracks as easily. Definitely makes for less mess in the vents. I think these are a good deal.

We just moved into a new home, and the floor registers were dirty and tired looking, and some of them were broken. We wanted some nicer ones, but they were getting kind of pricey. These ended up being a great alternative – only a little more expensive than the standard brown or white ones you get at a big box store – and I have been completely surprised by the quality. Although they're not as heavy as a cast iron register, they are very solid built and very well made. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the foot switch, louvers and mechanics are all made of metal, rather than plastic, as is often the case these days. Look great, high quality and a good price – highly recommend. Worth noting that they are made to drop into a duct that is approximately 4 x 12, and the face of the register itself is about 5 1/2 x 13 1/2 inches to cover the opening. Includes to screws and plate is pre-drilled if you want to screw them down.

I replaced a couple of tired looking floor vents with these because my old ones were bent and rusting, and these freshened up the room more than such a small change should. The coin style pattern is a nice step up from the plain slatted covers, it looks a bit more intentional and finished, and the finish on mine is smooth and glossy with no rough or sharp edges to catch a sock on. The steel build feels solid and substantial, not flimsy thin metal that flexes when you press on it, so I’m not worried about it denting underfoot. Swapping it in was about as easy as it gets for a floor vent, I just pulled the old one out and dropped this into the duct, no screws needed for the floor spot. The damper lever works smoothly to open, close and direct the airflow, and it does so quietly without that metallic rattle or scrape. Honest notes, you absolutely have to measure the duct hole and not your old cover, since they go by duct size, and I almost ordered wrong before reading that. The damper lever is also a little stiff to adjust at first. The painted finish, while nice, could probably scratch if you drag something heavy across it. For a clean looking, sturdy vent upgrade that installs in seconds, this has worked well for me and I’d recommend it.

These are truly superb looking floor registers! They are well-designed, and well-engineered. They have a quality look and feel to them. I was expecting them to just all be jammed into a box together, like some manufacturers do, but they were all wrapped neatly and individually to preserve the finish of each of the units. The registers fit perfectly and were simple to install and really are stylish. I just wish I didn’t have so much furniture near my registers so people could see how nice the look. It’s also easy to adjust the damper, and it’s totally noiseless.I can’t say that they are durable at this time as I have no personal experience and there is a concern that I have regarding potential durability issues with these registers. The seller states that they are made of steel and are rust-resistant, however, they do not go on to fully elaborate on the type of paint finish that they used on the steel while it seems that the most common way to protect the steel would have been to apply a powder coating finish on the steel. It also seems that there must not be any warranty beyond the first 30 days otherwise the manufacturer/seller would likely have mentioned it. As these are just my concerns, I can bring them to your attention but cannot in good conscience let this impact the rating of my review.The ZLEYECZ 4"x12" Floor Registers are a well-designed and well-engineered product.
