I love the ease of providing a cozy ambient light without fussing around with cords, and this pretty little lamp was perfect.We were a couple of days in a new house and still getting things arranged. Only about half of our household items were here, and I was tired of quick bites of take-out between rushing around. So I had my husband come to the table, and set this little lamp in the center and turned off harsh room lights, and we enjoyed a more relaxing meal (even if it was only pizza) with the mood set by this little lamp.I love that it's able to be placed anywhere since it's battery operated. We use rechargeable batteries for almost everything so battery life is not a real concern for us, but I will say that so far the timer feature does not appear to be working. I may have it on the wrong setting and will try again. It's supposed to be 6 hours on and 18 hours off with the timer, which would be wonderful for a dark corner that needs evening or nighttime light. Once I get the house set up, I'm going to try that feature again. There are several places I'd love to have that convenience.Another feature I really loved was the halo light effect created by the cut glass. It made a very nice lighted design on the wooden tabletop (see photos). The light was bright enough to see, but not glaring. The glass tones it down nicely. It doesn't flicker, and so doesn't really mimic candlelight but it does put me in mind of that kind of cozy lighting. The base is not shiny with a gold finish which is a nice complement to the light green glass, and goes great with my decor. The glass itself is sturdy and has a solid feel. The top edge is cut but not polished. It's not sharp enough to cut but if you rub a finger on the edge you can feel a slight roughness. That didn't take away from the lamp at all for me though.All in all, I'm very pleased with this lamp. I will probably find several places I want to use it, and may have to order additional ones.

This gorgeous little lamp is perfect as a nightlight in a bedroom, bathroom, or kitchen counter. It’s made of real glass and has a really pretty quilted style to it that throws a very nice pattern on your wall when lit up. The lamp is wireless so you’ll find the charging cord inside the box. The lamp also comes with a cool-touch lightbulb, making it perfect if you’re afraid of little fingers touching a hot bulb. A really special feature of this lamp that I like is that it operates on a timer. If you look at the picture of the bottom of the lamp, you can see that you can toggle it to three different positions: On- Timer- Off. If you leave it in the middle position where it says Timer, it will stay on for 6 hours, turn itself off, and then turn on again in 18 hours, so it has this really cool 24 hour function. I’m currently using this as a night light in the bathroom, where it’s providing just the right amount of light to not stumble around or disturb your spouse with a bright light. As a bonus, it’s also just a cute little accent piece and should fit in with most decor.

I ordered this because I'm gathering stage props for a theater production and wanted something that would safely and reliably simulate candlelight while still looking classic and elegant.Overall, I think this is a nice decorative lamp, but I wouldn't describe it as particularly convincing candlelight.The lamp itself has a pleasant appearance and a surprising amount of heft, so it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. Viewed from the side, it creates a warm, attractive glow and looks quite nice as part of a display.The illusion is less convincing when viewed from above. If it's sitting in the center of a table or on a low accent table where you're looking down into it, it's very obvious that you're looking at a light bulb inside the shade rather than a candle. It also produces a steady light rather than a flickering flame effect, so while it creates pleasant ambient lighting, it doesn't really simulate candlelight.I do appreciate that it runs on AAA batteries rather than button-cell batteries. Those are much easier to keep on hand, and I expect they'll provide a longer service life between battery changes.For my purposes, it will still work as a stage prop because it provides a warm, safe source of ambient light. My only real hesitation is the price. At around $22 for a single lamp, it feels a little expensive for what it is. I think the quality is good—I just wish the price were a bit lower.

I'm using this as a little bit of decorative ambient lighting, and always leave it on the 6 hour timer. It looks pretty in the day when it's off, and pretty at night when lit, too. The glass shade is not the most expensive-looking thing I've ever seen, but it doesn't look cheap or like plastic, either. It has a nice shimmer.When we've had overnight guests, I've also left this in the guest bathroom with the timer set to run overnight, which has been a better solution than nightlights for guests to find their way.I can see this working with a lot of different styles – my style is eclectic vintage with a bit of modern and it fits right in.Jury's still out on battery life, but I can say after a full week with the timer running, the bulb has not dimmed at all, so that's promising.Overall, this has been a nice find – great addition to my space!

If you don't want the timer, you also have the option of simply turning it on normally.The bulb unscrews easily if you ever need to replace it, and since it's LED, it should last a long time while using very little battery power. The base is permanently attached to the glass, but there's plenty of room to reach inside for cleaning if needed.I also appreciated the battery compartment. It uses a simple slide release instead of a tiny screw that inevitably requires hunting down a miniature screwdriver. Little details like that make a difference.One thing I realized after using the timer is that it almost becomes a subtle clock. Once it turns on each evening, I know roughly what time it is without even looking at one.Between the thick glass, attractive design, cordless convenience, and automatic timer, this feels like one of those home accessories I'll end up using far more often than I expected. It's a beautiful little lamp, and I'm genuinely glad I added it to my home.

I’m absolutely in love with this little decorative lamp! The green textured glass is gorgeous and gives it such an elegant, timeless look. It adds the perfect cozy accent to my room, and while it’s fairly compact, it puts out much more light than I was expecting. It’s definitely small but mighty.One of my favorite features is that it’s completely cordless. It runs on just two AAA batteries, so you can place it anywhere without worrying about finding an outlet or hiding a cord. It also includes a light bulb, which is a nice bonus and means it’s ready to use right out of the box.The built-in timer function is another feature I really appreciate. You can set it to automatically turn on at the same time every day, or simply use the regular on/off setting if you prefer. This lamp fooled me a bit, wasn’t really what I was expecting, but it’s not half bad. This is a small, battery powered table lamp, with a single led light bulb. The textured glass shade is 5” high, 4” width, and it’s glued on a 1” plastic base. My glass base seems to be glued off-center just a little, so it doesn’t sit completely straight. The shade I ordered was to be an amber color, but I received a light purple, which isn’t the worst thing. You will need 2 aaa batteries, but the light works, and it does have an option for a six hour timer. The price seems it a bit high for the quality. Overall, it’s fine if you’re looking for a cheap little battery powered light source. But I wouldn’t recommend if you’re buying this for the color, or any other things.
