This spool of cotton cording arrived wrapped in plastic which kept it clean and dirt free during transit. Once I removed the outer plastic I was impressed with how silky and soft this cording feels. The spool is sturdy and organized the cord well. I didn’t have to worry about the cord getting tangled during use. The spool allowed it to unwind easily.This 1/4” cording was the exact size I needed for my project. It was very easy to work with and the 3 strand twisted structure was uniform throughout the length I used. During the actual crafting time there was no discomfort or chaffing of my hands due how soft and smooth it was. I was able to grab the cord easily and control it throughout the entirety of the project.I used this to wrap around a styrofoam cone to make a Christmas tree craft. I experienced no freying, unwinding or loose cords. The cord came with one end secured. When I cut it at the end of the project, it only unraveled a small amount - less than 1/2”. I was able to put it back together and glue it in place.This cord is excellent quality and I highly recommend it. I can’t wait to use it on my next craft.

While this rope is really well made, bound well, and I expect more than strong enough for plenty of things, I actually grabbed it for the kids. I like it beinga natural cotton rope that they can use with mom for doing lots of projects. Everything from crafts to teaching knots.Nice looking, clean fibers, tight wound, and thankfully no real smell. Tons of length for what we'll be doing. Really soft rope as well. I'm probably going to snag a few pieces for professor's nightmare as I like working with the plain stuff, and this is really easy to handle.Overall everyone will get a piece of this roll and appreciate it. Even the cats want to play with it.Good quality, plenty durable, clean, and good value for the money.

I’m using this for a mid size wall hanging and it’s been easy to work with. The twist is consistent all the way through, no thin spots or loose sections that would affect how knots hold or how the finished pattern appears.The rope is soft to the touch with a clean natural cotton color giving the boho vibe I’m looking for.The fraying behavior is worth mentioning specifically. It resists fraying while you’re knotting and working, but when you want fringe it combs out into a full clean tassel. That’s exactly what you need for macrame and it’s not something every rope does well.150 feet is a good amount for a single project at this size. If I was going bigger I’d definitely need more, but this roll is substantial and is a good value for the price.
