Bright and Handy Work Light

[Color: For Dewalt]
This cordless LED work light is a great option for jobsites, workshops, or camping. It puts out plenty of light, and the long-distance beam is especially useful when I need to see farther ahead. I also like the pivoting head, which makes it easy to direct the light exactly where it’s needed. The flashing mode is a nice extra, and being compatible with a Dewalt 20V battery makes it convenient if you already have compatible batteries. I gave it 4 stars because the light is a little bulky for carrying around for extended periods, and it would be nice if a battery were included. Overall, it is a bright and versatile work light that gets the job done.

Extremely bright!

[Color: For Dewalt]
This Cordless LED work light compatible with Dewalt 20V Battery (No battery) | 1500LM Handheld Spotlight with 550 Yard Distance, Flashing mode and Pivoting Head for Workshop, Camping, Jobsites (For Dewalt) is extremely bright and it seems to be built fairly well however it's probably more useful as a flashlight when camping or looking for something in the dark. As a work light I think it's usage is limited. It only has two modes. Mode number one is 100% bright. Mode number two is a flashing light. I have never needed a flashing light while working on anything before in my life. I would much rather have different light levels than these two modes. When working on stuff in a dark area. The light even when reflecting off of what I'm working on is blindly bright and I wish I could turn it down. Now I know I complained a little bit about how bright the light is already, but this can be good in some circumstances. When working outside in the bright Sun, but in a dark area like under a car or in an engine bay you really need all that light. A lot of normal flashlights simply aren't bright enough to use in conditions like that and this one definitely is!One other downside to this light is the head is rather large too so sometimes you need to get a light into a tight space and this one won't fit. This fit my 20 volt dewalt batteries perfectly and works as expected. Even despite some of the complaints I have about this, I still would order it again as it is useful in some situations.

Very Bright Work Light with Excellent ReachVery Bright Work Light with Excellent Reach

[Color: For Dewalt, Color: For Dewalt]
This is a really handy work light to have around the shop and garage. The 1500-lumen output is plenty bright, and the focused beam gives it a lot more reach than a typical handheld flashlight. The long-distance beam is especially useful when you need to see something farther away instead of just lighting up the area directly in front of you. It's also handy outdoors for camping, checking around the property, or working in areas where you don't have good lighting.I really like the pivoting head because it gives you more flexibility when positioning the light. You can aim it where you need it instead of having to hold the entire light at an awkward angle. The fact that it works with Dewalt 20V batteries is a big plus for me. If you already have several Dewalt batteries for your tools, being able to use one of those instead of keeping another proprietary battery system around is extremely convenient. Just keep in mind that the battery isn't included. The flashing mode is also a useful extra feature for situations where you need to draw attention to yourself or the light.Overall, this is a bright and versatile work light with good range and a convenient battery platform. It's a great addition to the workshop, jobsite, garage, or camping gear if you're already using Dewalt 20V batteries.

Extremely Bright and Perfect for Any Job

[Color: For Dewalt]
This work light has been incredibly useful around the house and in the garage. The brightness is impressive, providing plenty of light even in completely dark work areas. I like that it’s cordless because it makes moving around much easier without having to deal with extension cords. The battery lasts a long time depending on what battery you have, the handle is comfortable to hold, and the overall construction feels durable enough to handle regular use. Whether you’re working on a vehicle, tackling home repairs, or dealing with a power outage, this light is an excellent tool to have. I like that it works with Dewalt batteries!

Good build quality.Good build quality.

[Color: For Dewalt, Color: For Dewalt]
Overall, this is a pretty good spotlight with easy to hold design and a 1500LM beam. One thing another reviewer mentioned and I agree is that you invariably have to sequence through modes for flashing modes, which you use rarely to get to the Spotlight, which is why you bought the thing. The build.quality is good as well as the design with the rotating head so you can aim it and set it on the ground or other surface. Overall, it gets my four stars.

Good all purpose work lightGood all purpose work light

[Color: For Dewalt, Color: For Dewalt]
I have several compatible batteries already, including both original equipment manufacturer batteries and third party batteries, so one of the first things I tested was battery compatibility. All of my batteries slid onto this light without any issues and locked into place securely. The light output is excellent. It is bright enough for the projects I need it for, whether I am working in the garage, doing repairs around the house, or needing extra light in a darker area. It provides plenty of illumination without needing to carry around a larger work light. One feature I really like is the adjustable light head. It pivots and locks into about six different positions, making it easy to direct the light exactly where I need it. This is especially useful when working in awkward areas where holding a traditional flashlight is not practical. The power switch operates smoothly and has a good feel to it. The handle is also comfortable to hold and has a non slippery grip, which makes it easier to use for longer periods of time without worrying about it sliding out of my hand. The overall build quality seems very good. The light feels solid, the battery connection is secure, and everything operates the way I would expect from a quality work light. One quick note for anyone using this for the first time: remember to remove the protective film from the lens before using it. The film helps protect the light during shipping, but leaving it on will reduce the clarity and brightness of the light output.Overall, I have been very happy with this work light. It is bright, easy to use, comfortable to hold, and works with the batteries I already own. The adjustable head and solid construction make it a very useful addition to my garage and tool collection. I think this is an excellent value for anyone looking for a reliable cordless work light.

Uneven beam pattern, fill brightness and flashing modes but missing lower brightness levelUneven ...

[Color: For Dewalt, Color: For Dewalt]
I’m a bit confused about the very big “head” of this flashlight, it seems unnecessarily huge to hold four LED lights. The light is very bright, but has no way to spread the beam wider. The beam pattern has a very focused bright center but the surrounding part of the beam is weak. The head rotates about 90 degrees from forward to straight up. It clicks to different intermediate positions. The light is fully compatible with 20v Dewalt batteries, which fit nicely. The weakest part of the design besides the uneven beam is the choice of modes when pulling the trigger switch. Three possibilities: off, full brightness, and flashing. It seems like a flashing mode is common on many LED flashlights, but I have never needed this and it usually seems like an annoying thing you have to click through to get the thing turned off. It would have been much more useful to have omitted the flashy thing and instead included a half brightness mode, several incremental variations in brightness when that high brightness is overkill or disadvantageous. It is a good and useful flashlight, but could be improved with a smaller head, lower brightness mode, and a mor even or adjustable beam pattern.
