Brand: MfitjetngModel: AK47 Pocket KnifeSize: 8" Open, 4" ClosedWeight: 4.5 ozType: Button activatedI can see the AK47 look easily in the design of this knife, and how many pocketknives have a built in led light on them, which is on a swivel so that you can easily light up your target before stabbing it, like rope or whatever.I do not see any markings on the blade to state the type of steel that this is made of, by no means is it a quality blade, but at this price point you get more than you pay for.The Handle is a tribute to the wooden stock, in the shape of the rifle butt of the AK47, and it is a good size overall at about 8" open. It does come with a carrying case, your basic black nylon Velcro case, but it's perfect for this knife.The ergonomics sort of rely on you using the "trigger guard" to place your finger through to hold on to the knife well, which is not the most comfortable, for larger hands.The locking mechanism is a slide, which is located right below the release button. Slide up to lock the blade, slide down to unlock it.Ok so easy of use is, well easy as I think that technically this would be considered an OTS automatic (switchblade), meaning that the blade opens from the side, and that it does not require any assistance to open, just the press of the button.Is it fun? yeah, Is it sharp? yup, sooo back to the nylon case. I would place it in that case, even if putting in your pocket as I did have this open up part way in my pocket somehow, with the lock engaged.

I have been keeping this folding knife as a compact everyday carry option, and I like how much functionality is packed into a relatively small design. The wood handle gives it a more unique appearance compared with many plain metal or plastic handled pocket knives, and the black finish gives it a clean look. The included LED light is also a useful addition because it is convenient to have a small light source available without needing to carry a separate flashlight.The knife feels comfortable to hold, and the pocket clip makes it easy to carry without taking up much space. I like the deep carry design because it keeps the knife sitting more securely in my pocket instead of sticking out too far. Sharp, the lock is a little unstable sometimes but it’s definitely a good quality knife. Love the handle design but it don’t fit in the palm as easy as I thought it would.

The knife is sharp and feels good in your hand. Doesn't feel cheaply made. Its a cool little knife with a impressive little spring release.

I'm going to start with the single negative that I have with this. I don't like the light. It works, and is bright for its size. There's nothing wrong with how it functions. It just feels so much cheaper than the rest of the product, and I am not a fan of the types of lights that require twisting the cap tight to enable them. If they can make it a higher quality light with a better toggle, this thing would be even better.With that being said, I'm going to get into why I like this. It is a very nice looking knife, the wooden grip is comfortable. The loop allows you to put your finger in there and get a strong working grip to cut whatever you need. The jimping on the back of the knife provides an ample amount of space for your thumb to work with. The blade and tip is very sharp out of the box as well.The knife also is spring assisted. There is a lock switch that you slide back or forward. If the switch is pushed out toward the front it is unlocked, if it is switched closer to the release button, then it is locked. The spring is very strong and quickly flips the blade out. You wish the safety switch was a little more deliberate. It does feel a tad loose for my liking.Lastly, it comes with a pouch that it comes in. I didn't care for it and I never used them.Overall, I think this is a beautiful looking knife, with a great grip and a sharp and functional blade. I love it!

This is the first knife that I call MINE. I got it for myself. My husband and my son love knives and have more than one but their knives are just single purpose pocket knives with the bigger and heavier handles that are not so comfortable for the smaller female hands, but this has changed when I saw this knife!!! I love it - the handle is smaller, very comfortable to hold. It comes with the holster which is a must have, I will explain later why, it has an adjustable to multiple angles bright flashlight, that operates by twisting the rim of the light in clockwise direction. Another excellent feature that this knife stands easily, and if you need a small source of light and to have both hands available it does just that - it becomes your light source! Finally, the blade is button operated - it pops fast, please see the picture the close up of two buttons on a handle - one button, when you press, extract the blade, with the speed of light, my husband's knives don't have it, and I jammed my skin the first time I discovered it, do please be careful. The same button when pressed eases off the blade and allows you to get the blade back into a folded position. The button next to it is a slider - if you slide it down, it holds the blade open, or closed and prevents from the accidental knife popping - important!!! Feature and holster is a must for the same reason, it keeps your knife contained and safe. We camp a lot and I live to have this knife by my side, literally!!! Lastly, the colors of the knife - black blade and red wood handle with black grain, create a nice contrast and make the knife noticable when camping, because my husband's knives are all stainless steel or dark gray color and sometimes they are hard to spot when they are laying over the camping equipment of the same color. I am very happy to get myself such a great companion for any future camping trips - it is sharp reliable and multifunctional! I highly recommend it to anyone, just please be cautious! Now this Mfitjetng AK47 Pocket Knife is AWESOME!! I ordered this as a Father's Day gift to my husband for next month! My husband will see this and think it is soo neat! He is obsessed with cool little trinkets like this, but especially ones like this that actually function and serve a purpose.. which pocket knives definitely do! He was in the army as a tanker crewman (or whatever it was called lol) and every since he learned how to operate firearms, he has loved them! We have about 12 total in our house, all different kinds, including an AK47 which was his most recent one that he bought. Most of his are custom made or insanely expensive, firearms is definitely one of his biggest hobbies and we go to the range to target practice quite often! So based on all that, I know he will love this AK47 pocket knife! But I was very glad to see that this is good quality, it is not cheaply made at all. It has a little safety lock button you can press if you want to put it in your pocket and ensure that it doesnt accidentally open. The size is perfect, like a regular pocket knife. But the details on this AK47 pocket knife, I think that is what he will appreciate the most. This looks just like the real thing, just a mini version! The knife is sharp and was pretty easy for me to figure out how it all worked and I am not very familiar with pocket knives. Overall this is going to be literally THE BEST FATHERS DAY GIFT that I have found for him yet (after 9 years) and it is such a good deal because it wont break the bank! I strongly recommend this to anyone whether you want to get it for yourself or as a gift to someone else! Oh yeah and this AK47 pocket knife also comes with a cool carrying case too! And it has a little scope on it which makes it more realistic lol I just love everything about this... for him!
