My first reaction when removing from the box was that they were nice and heavy. The black meta frames are substantial and solid and I could see no flaws in the seams. The glass is also heavy duty, should easily withstand bird hits and even small thrown objects.The sconces have a conservative, understated but modern look. I think they will make perfect bookends for my garage. It has integrated LED,, which have three temperature/color settings. The setting can be changed without having to take it apart, and without a switch, which would be a point of failure for an exterior light. Instead, you cycle through the three setting by turning the light on and off 4 times in five seconds. I had an LED lamp that worked in a similar way, and I found it annoying, because I periodically wanted to change the color depending on use. But for an external sconce, I would probably only set it once and never change,, so I think this is a great design.Overall, I like the set very much. These are cool led sconces. They're made with thick metal and a thicker beveled glass shade. The glass shade is pretty small, even appearing like it doesn't fit the rest of the fixture. I think it would be nicer if the shade was a bit longer. (Like twice as long)The components used are high quality. The frame is robust and sturdy. The wiring is thick and heavy duty. They're also pretty easy to install. Just a few power wires and ground. The led says it will last like 10,000 hours so.. should be good there. Barring any unforseen catastrophic failures, I think these are nice lights and would recommend. My only gripe is the size of the glass shade (reason for 4/5).It is pretty though, and the rippled glass refracts the light in a brilliant pattern upon the walls. I think they're a good deal pricewise too, as they won't break the bank. Very modern, very sleek. A good deal.4/5
