I ordered these Trolley Track Hangers to support a 10' (foot) 1 5/8" channel I bout at a local hardware store. Ironically, the hardware store had the channel but not the hangers, which had to be ordered.These hangers are heavy, sturdy and a perfect fit for my track, which is a universal 1 5/8" track. The installation was extremely simple; you slide from either end and position where desired. Once you find the location they will be fixed-into, use the included screws and nuts to secure. It is pressure based, so as the but is tightened, the whole assembly becomes one. That's really all there is to it.The gap above allows you to add a screw (fixed to a wall or ceiling), loop or an eye screw. In my case I used a "U" screw that bounded two for stability as I built a rolling rail to move some heating lamps around while allow me to raise or lower as needed. These lamps are used to dry paint, hence the need to move them in multiple directions. These track hangers are really strong and heavy duty. I bet each one weighs close to a pound. I ordered these for a DJ lighting project we are working on to mount support legs to the upper light bar. The hole in the bracket fits perfectly with the legs and the light bar mount. I just had to drill some holes to attach it to the bar and used a big drill press with carbide bit to do it. The project is almost done, they are painted black now and look great. But, if you're mounting heavy equipment on a trolley track, this is the parts you want to secure them. Very solid.

These are some good budget trolley track hanger brackets. The metal is solid with no flex. The bolts and nuts fit the holes well, so you can hang the channel and have a faster to keep it in place. You'll need fasteners to attach this to the ceiling, but if you're getting this, you probably already have that. Simple and inexpensive product. Overall, a good buy IMO.

I am not an expert with this kind of hardware, just a homeowner who wanted to add a strut canopy in my garage. First impressions were great. Very sturdy hanger brackets, better than what's at the hardware store if they're even available (normally they aren't unless you go to a plumbing or industrial store). Easy to use and they keep the strut channel clear. Support plenty of weight too, very happy.
