I love the style and color! It’s a pretty powerful fan and looks very stylish. Great quality for the price too!

I needed better air movement in the living areas without adding extra lights that might clash with existing fixtures. The solid wood blades give a natural look that blends with the space. Remote and wall controls offer flexibility depending on where you are. Six speeds cover gentle breeze to stronger flow and the motor stays quiet. Reverse option helps circulate air in cooler weather.Installation was manageable as a DIY project with the provided rods. One pleasant surprise is how balanced the blades feel with little wobble once running. Suitable for covered outdoor spots too. Family notices the comfort difference during gatherings. This keeps rooms fresher without much energy use.

This 42-inch fan combines three sculpted, propeller-style wood blades with a brushed-nickel housing. The aviation-inspired shape is particularly appealing, while the compact diameter works best in a bedroom, office, or medium-size living area that already has sufficient lighting.ProsSmooth, quiet DC motor with only slight airflow and motor noiseSix useful speed settingsReversible seasonal operationIncludes handheld remote, wall control, and remote-storage bracketWarm wood blades contrast nicely with brushed nickelStable operation without noticeable wobbleETL certification appears on the fan and documentationStraightforward conventional ceiling-fan installationConsNo integrated lightForty-two-inch span may be inadequate for a large open roomSome uncertainty exists over whether the blades are solid or engineered woodAligning the blade and mounting-plate holes can require patienceNo published CFM or measured noise specificationOutdoor placement should be limited to covered areasBottom line: A quiet, attractive fan for a smaller, well-lit room, especially for anyone who appreciates its aircraft-propeller styling.

I received this 42" wooden fan a while back and finally got it installed. It has real wooden fan blades. The directions were easy to read and over all the fan was easy to install but I did have a little difficulty getting the metal plate and fan blade holes all lined up to get the screws in. I like the real wood blades, it reminds me of an old airplane propeller and would fit right in with a aviation themed room. The quality seems pretty good and comes with a wall mounted control box and a hand held remote with bracket to hold the remote on a wall. This fan works great and looks good, It doesn't come with a light so if you need a fan/light combo this is not the fan for you

This is a nice ceiling fan. These three bladed, propeller looking ceiling fans seem to becoming more prevalent recently. I have one other three blade that we really like, so we decided to order another for a different area of the house. The title and description pictures state this fan is noiseless, this isn't totally true, but it is all but silent. Just a very low motor hum and air movement sound. The description and specs on this item are not that great. There really isn't any written description and what is shown in the images, albeit good for images, is not even close for a description. What is really missing is just about everything. From the title and images we can see that this fan is a 42" with a DC motor, and no light kit. We can see that there is a remote, but there is No mention what the remote controls, e.g., does it turn on/off fan? Increase/decrease speed? How many speeds - 1, 2, 6? Is the fan reversing? What about the blades? Are they wood, resin, paper mache? As you can see this listing is really lacking, and I believe if this wasn't a Vine item, I wouldn't have picked it up because of these questions above. So, since the description doesn't help, let me try fill in some of the blanks. First, the remote. See the picture. As you can see, it has more than just an on/off switch - which was expected. According to the user manual here are a few of these answers. "...a handy remote control, users can independently operate the fan, adjust speeds, and utilize the reversible function for seasonal use...", it also states:"...Remote control operates fan speed and reversible motor quietly...".As far as the blades are concerned. The manual states the following: "...Stylish wooden blades...". Well, okay, but to me it feels more like engineered wood with melamine woodgrain. I might be wrong though with some of the processing they are now doing with wood. The manual and stickers on the fan show that this fan is ETL certified. Where I live this is completely acceptable; however, please check with your local code enforcement authorities And your insurance to make sure it is legal and won't void your insurance before installing. Installation was very straight forward and like most other fans on the market. When I first received this item, I did my typical initial inspection of this and did NOT find any left over manufacturing process substances such as oils, sharp edges, blemishes or other defects that would render this inoperable or unsafe. At this price point (~$138), I believe this is just a bit pricey. However, currently there is a coupon available for $20 off bringing the price down to $118 and making this an average value. A quick search shows similar items costing between ~$73-130. Would I order this again? Probably not at this price without a light kit.Hope this helps!

This ceiling fan is gorgeous and makes a massive modern statement in the room. The build quality is excellent; the natural wood blades are beautifully carved and lightweight, while the brushed nickel housing holds the heavy-duty DC motor perfectly stable with zero wobbling. The 6-speed motor moves a phenomenal amount of air while remaining completely whisper-quiet, and having both a remote control and wall switch interface makes adjusting it incredibly convenient. We had our electrician install this ceiling fan, he was in and out in less than 1 hour. the whole process took him around 45 minutes, he said the instructions were clear and straightforward.Finding a solid-wood, DC-motor ceiling fan at this price point is rare. It looks and performs like a high-end designer fixture for a very reasonable price.

I like the classic look of this 42-inch solid wood ceiling fan. A LOT better than the old one I replaced with its 1960s tulip shades and hanging chains! The natural wood blades have a warmer, more finished look than the flat plastic or fake-wood blades of my old one. I especially like the texture of the blades and the smoothed, shaped look of them. It has a simple, traditional ceiling-fan appearance without looking old-fashioned.Installation was straightforward, and the remote works well, even from a distance. I also like that it doesn’t include a light, because sometimes you already have enough lighting in a room and just want air movement without another glowing fixture hanging from the ceiling, nor those annoying hanging chains. That said, the price gave me pause. This one was listed at $138, or $124.20 with the coupon, and that puts it in a slightly higher range for a 42-inch no-light fan. In comparison shopping, I found some 42-inch no-light ceiling fans with remote controls selling closer to about $99, though many of those appear to be simpler designs or not necessarily solid wood. One listing, for example, showed a 42-inch no-light fan with remote and DC motor for $99, while another 42-inch wood-style no-light fan was listed at $157.94.So I’d say this isn’t the cheapest option, but it also doesn’t look or feel like the cheapest option. The real value depends on whether you specifically want the solid wood blade look, the brushed nickel finish, the remote and wall control, and the 6-speed DC motor. If you just need a basic 42-inch fan, you may be able to spend less. If you care about the more natural, classic look, this price makes more sense. For me, it’s attractive, quiet, easy enough to install, and the controls work well.

This 42-inch solid wood ceiling fan strikes a really nice balance between modern minimalist styling and practical everyday performance. The brushed nickel finish paired with the natural wood blades gives it a clean, upscale appearance that works especially well in bedrooms, living rooms, offices, covered patios, and other spaces where you want airflow without a bulky or overly decorative fixture dominating the room. One of the standout features is how quiet the DC motor operates. Even at higher speeds, the fan maintains a smooth, low-noise performance while still producing strong airflow for its size. The six-speed settings allow for much more control than traditional three-speed fans, and having both remote and wall control options adds convenience depending on how the room is set up.The solid wood blades also elevate the overall appearance and help the fan feel more premium than many lightweight plastic-blade alternatives in this price range. The no-light design gives it a very clean and modern look, especially in rooms that already have dedicated lighting or where a simpler ceiling profile is preferred.Pros• Quiet DC motor provides strong airflow without excessive noise• Solid wood blades give the fan a more premium and modern appearance• Six speed settings offer excellent airflow customization• Remote and wall controls add convenient operation flexibilityCons• No integrated light kit for rooms needing combined lighting• Limited product information provided for installation specifics• 42-inch size may be too small for very large open spacesAs someone who spends a lot of time designing production and creative environments where comfort, aesthetics, and low-noise operation matter, this fan does a great job blending clean visual design with practical functionality. The smaller 42-inch footprint also makes it especially versatile for medium-sized rooms where oversized fans would feel overpowering.Final ThoughtsThis ceiling fan is a great fit for homeowners looking for a modern, minimalist fan that focuses on airflow, quiet performance, and clean aesthetics rather than unnecessary extras. The combination of solid wood blades, quiet DC motor performance, remote convenience, and versatile indoor/outdoor compatibility gives it a much more refined feel than many fans in this category.• Stability• Sturdiness• Material• DurabilityWhile it does not include a built-in light, the strong airflow, quiet operation, solid construction, and modern appearance make this an excellent value for bedrooms, living rooms, offices, covered patios, and other spaces where clean design and reliable cooling are the priority.
