This is a nice set of 6 stainless steel 3.5 inch hinges, finished with a black coating. They come complete with hardware, so you should be able to get started on your project immediately.Designed for outdoor resilience, they have the non-removable pin so someone can’t simply remove the pin and open the door from the outside. This allows them to be used on outdoor buildings, sheds and farm structures where insetting hinges is not worth the effort. Mostly, I’m discouraging local wildlife.I like the finished look of these hinges. However, the black coating had multiple spots where it looked as though they had been dinged and the silver showed through. Not large spots, but visible. In addition, they did not send the sixth package of screws, although there were two extra running around in the box. There was no sixth plastic pack and insufficient hardware to place the final hinge. I’ve got plenty of stuff on hand that will work, but not matching the color of the hinge. I’ll just use it some place where it won’t make a difference.So, all in all, this is a wonderful set of hinges for any variety of projects. Just check to ensure you get everything and that the finish is good enough for your use.
