This is an ideal LED light for a shop or garage. You can either mount the light directly to the ceiling, or have them hanging down by a chain (chain not included). The light is IP65 rated, which means there is complete protection from dust entering the enclosure, as well as water from a 6.3 mm nozzle, so you can mount these in the outside environment, and they will be protected from rain, splashes and hose downs. At 7800 lumens, you can definitely light up an area well. I am switching out my old fluorescent lighting for LED, and am very pleased with the improvement. You can daisy chain up to 10 of these lights, and still maintain the IP65 rating. I am very pleased with this lighting.

I’m really impressed with this vapor tight LED light. Installation was straightforward, and the included stainless mounting clips, screws, and pre-installed knockouts made it easy to get it mounted and wired without much hassle. I had it up and running in about 20–25 minutes, and the wiring compartment was roomy enough to work comfortably without feeling cramped. You can use the provided wire already reinstalled on the light but I chose to remove it and use the existing wiring coming out of my ceiling. The wiring terminals are the quick release type. No screwdriver needed. Just push down on the clip to release the wire and pull it out. Easy peasy. The biggest thing that stood out to me is how bright it is. It produces a strong, even light output that feels around 4,000–5,000 lumens, which is more than enough to fully illuminate my two-car garage. The 4000K neutral white color temperature gives a clean, natural look that makes it easy to see details without being harsh or overly blue. There’s also very little shadowing thanks to the wide light diffusion. The vapor-tight housing feels solid and well-built, with a fully sealed gasket design that gives it an IP65 style protection against dust and moisture. The polycarbonate lens is thick and doesn’t flex easily, and the overall fixture feels durable enough for humid or dusty environments like a workshop or basement. The end caps and seals fit tightly, giving confidence that it will hold up well over time. Overall, it’s an easy-to-install, very bright, and well-built light that has worked great for my garage and feels like a solid upgrade over standard shop lights. I only ordered one to try it out and am definitely getting another.
