Key Features

  • Aluminum LED Channel – Made of high-quality aluminum, this flexible LED channel works as a housing and track for LED strip lights, helping integrate lighting smoothly into drywall, ceilings, and other residential or commercial lighting structures
  • Trimless Recessed Lighting Design – Installed flush into walls or ceilings with a continuous silicone diffuser, this channel produces a clean 15mm wide dotless light effect, creating soft and even illumination without visible trim
  • Supports Curved Lighting Designs – The flexible aluminum profile allows arbitrary bending with a minimum bend diameter of 350mm (13.7in), making it suitable for curved surfaces and S-shaped lighting layouts on flat surfaces
  • 10×1m Channel Set – Includes three 3.3ft (1m) flexible aluminum channels, a 10m silicone cover, and mounting screws. The aluminum profile can be cut to the desired length for flexible installation
  • Placement Guide for LED Strips – For curved light lines on flat surfaces, place the strip on the side position (10.9mm). For curved walls, place the strip at the bottom position (12.5mm) to achieve the best lighting effect.

These Give LED Strips That Clean, Built-In Look

[Size: 20M]
My husband and I have been experimenting with recessed LED lighting around our house, and these channels are exactly the type of thing that can make LED strips look like they were professionally installed instead of just stuck to the wall.I really like the plaster-in design because once everything is installed and finished, most of the aluminum disappears into the drywall. You're left with a clean strip of diffused light instead of seeing the channel, the edges, and every individual LED.The diffuser is especially important to me because I don't want to see a row of little LED dots. I want a smooth line of light, and these help create that much more finished look. The 6.6-foot lengths are also great for larger projects because there are fewer seams to deal with. With 10 pieces in the set, there's enough material to actually get creative with a design instead of realizing halfway through that you need three more boxes. We've been experimenting with this type of lighting in our hallway and living room, and I love how many different things you can do with it. Straight lines, geometric patterns, wall-to-ceiling designs...the problem isn't figuring out whether I like recessed LED lighting anymore. The problem is deciding when to stop adding it.

Great for recessed areas pre-finish

[Size: 20M]
These are really cool if you know what you're doing when you install them. Not good if you've already completed your wall finishes - they definitely need to be put in before your main drywall. I will say that it would be nice if they had a dimmer - is it is, it's one-tone-fits-all, and the light color could be a little warmer. Otherwise, I'm really pleased with the result.

These are well made aluminum channels that you can fill with your favorite LED light strips. Each 2m long strip weighs only 3/4 of a pound. The plastic diffuser top snaps inside the channel, not over top of it so you can change the LEDs later. On the outside of the light is two thin aluminum rails that can be taped into your drywall and finished into the wall. They are about .03" thick so not difficult to plaster in.

So this stuff is shipped direct from China to Amazon warehousing. Which is fine by me as long as it arrives undamaged. They protect the channels well enough with additional corner protection. It’s. It perfect, some very minor bends in the flange ends, but MINOR. Because they are packed and wrapped tight, overall lengths are still nice and straight. Now there is a ton of aluminum shavings from cuttings here. That’s a little annoying, but honestly, who cares. You’re going to be mudding and sanding around these anyway. I’ve used plenty of this stuff before and the extrusion and diffusers look identical to other stuff I’ve used. I can’t identify anything really to complain about.

Clean Trimless Look, but Open the Box Outside

[Size: 20M]
I am in the middle of a bathroom remodel after a leak. My wife and I do all our own home maintenance, so once we tore into the wall, the project grew the way these projects always do. While I was scrolling Amazon for parts, I came across these plaster-in LED channels and had an idea. I wanted to install one between the shower and the wall as a transition piece. So that is exactly what I did.The channel is already in. The trimless plaster-in design is the whole point here. It sits flush and disappears into the wall, so you get a clean recessed line instead of a chunky strip stuck on the surface. The aluminum build feels solid and not flimsy. The fit in the drywall was straightforward once I planned the placement. As a transition detail between the shower and the wall, it looks sharp even before any light goes in.Here is my honest situation. I do not have the lighting effect finished yet. I have a specific dream, and that dream is a blue LED strip that chases downward so it looks like water dripping down the wall. Finding that exact strip has been harder than the remodel itself. For now, the aluminum channel is installed and waiting patiently while I hunt. Final performance depends entirely on the strip you choose, so keep that in mind. The channel is just the stage. The light is the actor that still has not shown up to rehearsal. One warning matters more than anything else. Do not open this package indoors, and absolutely not over carpet. When I opened mine, it was like one of those prank cards a friend mails you that explodes with glitter. The packaging is full of loose aluminum shavings and sawdust. You know what they say about glitter; it is the herpes of craft supplies. This stuff is the same. It gets everywhere, it sticks to everything, and you will be finding it for weeks. Open it outside, over a trash can, like a responsible adult who has learned from my mistake.I would recommend these if you want a clean trimless channel for a custom lighting detail and you do not mind sourcing the right LED strip yourself. Just take the box outside first.

Installation of the JWTCLUST LED Strip Channel Kit in drywall is moderately straightforward but requires some planning. Key considerations:• Route the channel – Cut a groove (U-shaped channel) into drywall at your desired location using a drywall saw or grinder• Insert the aluminum channel – Slide the aluminum U-track into the drywall groove• Secure it – Use drywall screws, adhesive, or both to hold the channel in place• Insert LED strip – Place your LED strip (not included) into the channel• Add diffuser cover – Snap on the milky diffuser for uniform lighting• Finish – Smooth drywall compound over the channel edges and paint for a seamless lookThis is a DIY-friendly project if you're comfortable using a drywall saw and have basic tools. For a polished finish, professional installation may be ideal.
