To be completely candid, when I first saw this product, I thought, "Yeah, right." But I decided to give it a shot on two fence posts that had developed a pretty bad lean. Surprisingly, they really do work.Now, I did things a little differently than the standard instructions. While digging isn't required since you can just use a hammer to drive it down, I wanted a more heavy-duty reinforcement. I personally used a post hole digger to go down the full length of the bracket. Then, I poured a little cement into the hole up to ground level and pushed the bracket straight into it. Once the cement dried, I reattached the damaged part of the fence, and you would honestly never even know there was an issue. It worked like magic.Now my only challenge is keeping the actual trees from falling over during high winds and heavy rain!This is a great product, and the dual pack is an excellent value. I highly recommend it!

I had one fence that fell over because I didn't fix it fast enough and so now I'm trying to address any leaning fences.It's basically an extremely heavy metal stake that you can drill into your fence and it gives it additional stability at the bottom. It's very sturdy and installation is very simple, but you do need to be strong enough to drive it into the ground. The appearance it is a glossy black metal.I don't know if it'll fix heavily damaged fences but if your issue is simply that it's starting to lean this is a quick and easy fix! You can also use it to reinforce a fence that doesn't have very strong seats in the ground.

I bought this kit to repair a post in a fence that was built to stop rabbits getting into the orchard. I tried many ways to stop that post leaning and bringing one side of the fence down. I used heavy rocks and prop up supports but nothing was strong and heavy enough to keep the posts straight up. When I saw this kit, I thought the universe was listening to my frustrations with that fence and bought it immediately. As soon as it was delivered | jumped into action in installing it.This post support is made with three thick iron pieces welded together to give its shape. It is not the best welding job and I wonder why they didn't use one continuous piece to bend it into the final shape. The piece that goes into the ground has a sharp pointed edge which helps to drive it into the ground; the piece which is in contact with the post that needs repairing has 4 pre-drilled holes and the package includes screws to firmly attach the post to the anchor. I used a hammer to pound it in. I haven't buried the entire leg into the ground for a better and stronger support, even with the shallow depth the leg is in the ground, it lifted up the leaning post and the fence with it. I am glad it mended the fence which was taking up my mental energy for a while.
