I really like these pin punches. They're long and heavy duty, with a nice heavy knurled grip area. There are 5 punches included, 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", and 3/8". Each punch measures about 196mm long, not including the rounded plastic head intended to protect the soft mallet heads. The punches come in a canvas roll pouch.The mallet includes replaceable heads and comes with an extra of each type. Unlike the punches, it's pretty lightweight at around 178g or 6.3oz. The largest 3/8" punch weighs almost as much. So it's obviously intended for lighter hammer work. For larger and heavier pins you'll probably want a little more hammer mass.The bench block is made of a hard dense rubber and feels good in the hand. It should help protect whatever device you're punching pins out of.Overall a nice little punch set.

This set is quite nice!The edges are clean and precise, and nicely finished. The knurled ends feel great in your hands. These punches are high quality and offer good value.I don’t work on watches, so I can’t say how well they’d work for that. But since the smallest punch is 1/8” diameter, they might be a bit large for watches. I do work on my own small engines, motorcycles, and cars. I’ve used one to remove a rivet to change a motorcycle chain.The set comes in a roll-up case that ties shut. It includes a soft-faced hammer and two replacement hammer faces. I’d be more impressed if the roll-up case also fit the hammer and replacement faces.The set includes a bench block to hold small parts while you hammer on them.

I am actually impressed with this pin punch set. I have a few hammers, bench blocks, and punches already, and this kit is better than several of the others I own. None of my tools are high-end professional-grade tools, but this set feels a step above many of the budget options.The hammer seems to be built pretty well. The heads screw on, and they even include spare ends. As long as you are not using it to beat on things it was never intended for, I think it should hold up just fine.The punches are what really surprised me. I cannot speak to the exact type of steel used or how well they will hold their shape over years of use, but they are nicely made. One thing I really like is the length. My other punches are often too short, and I regularly run into situations where I need another half inch to a couple of inches of reach. These are much longer than most and can get into some very tight spots.The bench block may be my favorite part of the kit. My other blocks are either hard plastic that dents and dings easily or have soft sleeves that eventually crack and fall off. This one feels different. It is firm and durable but seems to have a little rubber mixed into it. It almost feels like an extra-hard rubber block.Overall, this is a really nice kit that works well for what it is designed to do. I think it is a good value for the money and well worth checking out if you need a set of punches and a really nice bench block.
