Sturdy and versatile - just what I needed.Sturdy and versatile - just what I needed.

[Size: 10M, Size: 10M]
These were perfect for my needs. I was using a 12mm light strip as part of the lighting design for a theater production. I needed something that would provide rigidity to the strip without adding much bulk and also giving me a way to attach it to the set. These were perfect, and the diffusion worked well and made the fixture a little less blinding to the actors. They came very well packaged, taped securely and wrapped in thick cardboard. That said, one of the ten channels had a pretty significant dent. It probably could have been bent back straight with some effort, but I didn’t need all 10 anyway.

LED strip light permanent install with diffuser

[Size: 10M]
These are really nice aluminum mud in LED strip channels, with a diffuser. They're certainly not "stick it on" easy, requiring drywalling, mudding, and painting for a final look...without instructions. But for what they are, they are easy to put in place, have nice open areas to catch the mud or let screws through, and generally have a great straight high end quality to them. These are how you get futuristic LED strip light function in a DIY manner. Great value as long as you have those DIY skills needed. Double check sizing of channel vs LED strip light before expecting to put the two together.

Personally, if you’re going through the effort of adding LED strips to walls, there’s really no better way than adding them into the drywall from the start. And that's what gives you that sleek modern look that you see in higher end homes, theaters, hallways, accent spaces. Once complete, the channel all but disappears, leaving only a clean line of diffused light instead of exposed LED strips and mounting hardware. The diffuser helps soften the light so you don't see every single LED, and the aluminum components seem solid. It's important to realize that this takes some planning and construction skills. To get the seamless look seen in product photographs, installing these channels calls for preparation, drywall work, finishing, and perhaps some sanding and painting. The majority of the work is done during the installation procedure. To make sure your LED strips fit correctly in the channel, I would highly advise measuring them before beginning. The product itself isn't the major obstacle but instead the kind of project it necessitates is. When new construction, renovation, or drywall work is already underway, these make the most sense. It is definitely feasible to retrofit them into a finished room, but it will require a lot more labor. All things considered, I believe these channels achieve their intended goals. They serve as the basis for a recessed lighting installation that looks professional and is impossible to duplicate using stick-on LED strips alone. This type of installation produces outcomes that are worth the effort if your objective is a simple, integrated lighting design with an upscale appearance.

SO Aesthetically Awesome, Drywall & Skim Coating Required, Check LED Strip SIze Prior to OrderSO ...

[Size: 10M, Size: 10M]
These LED channels by JWTCLUST are amazing!! We love these and can't wait to install them! The aluminum channels are sturdy and well-machined. We even love their circle cuts for where they get attached to the studs--it's a really cool pattern and we may even leave that showing as part of our design. These will also be fabulous with the aluminum hidden, spotlessly showing only a linear lighting effect. These seem straightforward to install. We've done a bit of work with installing LED strips but this is a huge, fun upgrade. We've also done drywall mudding and skim coating which is necessary for installing these. This set comes with the channel and hardware, which includes anchors and screws, as well as end caps to pass the LED cables through. Be sure to measure the width of your LED strips prior to ordering. There are also plastic light diffusers that enclose the LED strip light in the channel and tone the bright LEDs to a soft glow. These create incredible design style and ambiance! So many possibilities of cool places to install these. The options are literally endless. These are really well-made and the quality and components of the kit are excellent. These are also an exceptional value for over 33 feet of channeling. They were under $50 at the time of my order and I almost ordered more on the spot before I even received the tracks as they look that cool! Highly recommend.

High end architechtural element and quality at a DIY price

[Size: 10M]
Rarely seen except in high end architechtural locations, this element can make a great statement in your home. The options for use are endless. Accent strip down a hallway, outlining a home theatre screen, ceiling accent for night light. This should prove to be an easy element to add while doing new construction but would be difficult to add after the fact. For new installs, simply mount this strip where you want it, then install the drywall around it. This can be trimmed to length if 1 meter isn't what you need, made of aluminum can be cut with heavy duty sheers or a hacksaw. You'll need to drill holes for wiring and needs to be done before install. The wiring would be hard to do with a retrofit, so be prepared for more work than you think to get it run. As mentioned elsewhere, please make sure you have the LED strips that will fit the width and length you require. But you can't install them until after you finish the drywall, just run the required wiring first.Getting drywall mud in the channel shouldn't be much of a concern as it's easily cleaned off of aluminum, but add wire nuts to the wires to protect them.If you take all this into account, a beginner DIYer should be able to do some of this. If your still learning, consider doing the electrical for this last so you have experience, same with drywall work. Especially if you are considering odd layouts. This does require attaching to studs, so if you're wanting vertical runs, keep that in mind and run cross braces where required. This unit has one advantage, it can be used at the end of a drywall section that will but up against an item that won't support a flange behind it like other models I've seen. For the cost versus difficulty, it's a 5 for cost and while this item alone is not difficult, it's the job that will be hard. The results have the potential to be a 10. I'd like to see someone use programmable LED's to support a variety of options, am I just dreaming... not with this starting point.

Great quality so far — excited to see the final look!

[Size: 10M]
I haven't installed these yet, but I wanted to leave an initial review because I'm already impressed. The 10-pack of 3.3ft recessed drywall LED strip channels arrived well-packaged, and the aluminum profiles feel very solid and high-quality — no flimsy parts. You can tell these are built to last. There were no instructions included, which might be tricky for a beginner, but any decent handyman (or someone comfortable with drywall work) should be able to figure it out easily. I dry-fitted one section against my ceiling, and the trimless design is going to look incredibly sleek once installed.I can already tell these will make my LED strip lighting look professional and built-in. I'll update my review after full installation, but so far — really happy with the purchase and the quality for the price. Highly recommend if you're looking for a clean, modern lighting solution.

High quality metal track with no instructions and significant effort required.High quality metal ...

[Size: 10M, Size: 10M]
High quality metal track with no instructions and significant effort required. These tracks produce nice clean results that appear professional. However, to get the effects advertised, the metal track itself would need to be recessed and hidden/covered where the flat part attaches to the wall or ceiling. To produce the lighting effects shown in the product listing, you would either need to install these during building, or you would need to do significant work to the ceiling or wall to install these tracks in a way that makes them unseen. Also, I have some indoor/outdoor led strip lights and they are about 1"x1.25" in size and do not fit in the track with the diffuser screen attached. The brackets are very well made though. This is really meant more for a professional installation and not a DIY project for an existing room.

Trimless Brilliance with a Side of Drywall DustTrimless Brilliance with a Side of Drywall Dust

[Size: 10M, Size: 10M]
If you’ve ever dreamed of living in a sleek, futuristic sci-fi villain lair where the light glows seamlessly out of the very architecture itself, the JWTCLUST Plaster-in Recessed Led Strip Diffuser is your ticket to the big leagues. This 10-pack of one-meter aluminum channels is designed to be embedded directly into your drywall, giving you that high-end, ultra-minimalist trimless lighting look that makes standard clip-on LED tracks look like a high school science project. Visually, the raw aluminum profile isn't much to look at out of the box, but once installed and painted over, it completely disappears, leaving behind nothing but a crisp, diffused blade of light. The build quality of the extruded aluminum is exceptionally rigid, which is exactly what you want when you're mudding it into a wall, and the snap-in plastic diffusers do a commendable job of smoothing out those harsh, pinpoint LED hot spots into a continuous glow. At its current price point for a massive 33-foot total run, the value for the money is phenomenal—you're getting architectural-magazine aesthetics on a standard DIY budget. Now, let's talk about functionality and the "ease of installation," which is where the real fun—and the mess—begins. This is not a "stick-it-and-forget-it" Saturday morning project; it requires actual commitment, a steady hand, and a willingness to embrace drywall mud. To install it, you have to cut a precise channel into your existing drywall (or plan it into new construction), screw the aluminum flanges directly into the studs or plasterboard, apply joint tape, mud over the perforated wings, sand it flush, and paint. The product instructions are essentially a brief series of diagrams showing this sequence, and while they are technically accurate, they drastically understate how much sanding you'll be doing to get it truly seamless. The functionality is flawless once the mud dries—the frosted cover pops in securely and protects your LED strips from dust while casting a beautiful, even glow. The only minor quirk is that the internal channel width is precise, so you'll want to measure your LED light strips ahead of time to ensure they aren't too wide to fit. It’s best for seasoned DIYers or anyone hiring a patient contractor who understands that the secret to luxury lighting is a flawless mud job.
