XC810 Mechanical and Industrial Protective Gloves

These are work gloves, so not looking for warmth. I am looking for quality and thickness to spare my hands and these seem to have both. Durability will be determined next time I'm doing yard work but that might not be till spring. The construction though seems better than what I've seen at home depot. My typical score is a 3 but these fit better than the pairs I've purchased at the big box stores which are normally small.

I try to keeps some of these stretchy, nitrile coated gloves on hand. They are a good middle ground between full leather gloves and nitrile. So, they are not for working on barbed wire or with chemicals but when you want to keep your hands clean; like when doing work on a car or small motor, they are just the ticket. The woven back helps them breath so my hands don't sweat as much as when I use full nitrile gloves. Also, these are durable enough to survive more than a single use. I really like that.

At times the world seems just full of sharp and abrasive stuff that is just waiting to scratch up my hands. I run through gloves all the time working on my car, working on my bikes, working in the yard, building stuff with the crew, the list goes on. Showa gloves have been reliable for me in the past and these are no different. XL fits my hands like it should. Nice and thin material that gives good tactility without feeling too thin that it won't protect you. They've been super durable so far, but it's nice to know I can replace a worn out left or right glove at any time and still have a good matching set. It's a great value, too, so handing a pair to your working neighbor feels great!

Moved concrete debris and performed heavy gardening. I found the texturing on the fingers to wear but not as fast as I expected. The worn fingers continued to have good grip. I found the glove to be very protective of sharp rough objects such as the jagged concrete. My only dislike is the pricing, you can buy packs of dipped gloves at the warehouse and big box stores for the price of one pair of these gloves. I believe the target market is industrial and not home owner. In that case I think these gloves meet the expectations of a one or two shift industrial usage.
