These clips worked perfectly for hanging my quilt up. They were easy to install. You can turn and tighten them to a range of different sized wall hangings. I like the way that they look and they seem like they will hold up well

Works pretty well for what they were designed for……These are decent small quilt or rug clamps to hang tapestries on the wall. They are designed for up to 15 pounds so anything heavier, would need a different sized clamp.These clamps are simple to hang on the wall, and simple to install the rug or quilt to the clamps. Depending on size, would depend on how many clamps you need. For a small rug, you only need two but for a large one, you will need all four provided.Basically, you insert the clamp onto the rug and twist the knob to make it tight enough to hold it. Then you hang the clamps to the wall. These are designed for Hard wall types like wood or concrete walls, not drywall or softer wall types. For softer walls, you need heavy anchors or different styled clamps.To be honest, I do prefer the wood clamps better because they look nicer and more finished. The metal ones just don’t have the right look or the give off the right vibe to hang tapestries or rugs/quilts from. It would depend on the style of your home, your decor, your rug/quilts, all those things come into play when deciding on which material the clamps should be however, the metal ones are a little lighter if they’re small. If they’re large, they could be heavier but wood is more solid and can split, where the metal ones do not.Overall, these are made well with quality materials and work well for rugs/quilts under 15 pounds and on hard walls of wood or concrete. Since they need anchoring on my drywall walls, I can not hang them up because my property manager will not approve ( I rent ) so unfortunately, I am unable to hang these on my wall and would need to order something I can use instead.
