Cabinet Clamps

I found these cabinet clamps to be cumbersome to use. I installed new, off the shelf cabinets in a kitchen and thought these might be helpful during the install. But they took too much work to get set up and I found myself going back to my quick release clamps that I use regularly. They do offer padding and other benefits that I think would be useful for someone who makes their own cabinets or other wood working projects. For a job with a crew and a timeline, these took too long to set up. The quality is great though. They are powder coated in a thick paint and very sturdy.

Anyone who has tried to hold a cabinet in position while simultaneously drilling and fastening it knows exactly why these clamps exist. Cast steel construction means they're not going to flex or fail under the weight of a cabinet which is the whole point. The integrated drill guide is the feature that really makes these worth buying — it positions the drill bit exactly where it needs to go without measuring and re-measuring. EVA pads protect the cabinet surface from any marks which matters when you're installing finished cabinets. Adjustable range from 2.24 to 4.41 inches covers standard cabinet face frame sizes without any issue. Five stars, one of those tools that makes you wonder how you did the job without it before.

The 2 cabinet clamps come in a hard case with extra pads for the clamps and an extra drilling guide for 1/4” drill bits. When installing cabinets you need to secure them to the wall or a supporting structure for floating uppers and you need to secure the face frames of the cabinet to the one next to it. The advantage of these clamps is the dual clamping method where you can tighten the frames together and also align the surface of the frames to where they are flush with one another. The clamps have felt pads to protect your face frames from damage and a drilling guide for installing screws. The clamps have a drilling guide bushing that keeps the drill bit straight and centered with a thumb screw to move the guide out of the way so you can install the screw to connect the frames. The clamps are well made for home and commercial use as well. They simplify the securing of the face frames together and the adjustments on the clamps gives you a range of compatibility with different sized frames. We are replacing the kitchen cabinets that we installed years ago with a more modern and better quality set in the near future. The clamps are high quality and a great buy.

Pretty fancy clamps for cabinets or face frames.They come in a zippered, padded case that will quickly be tossed aside if you use them on a regular basis.I’m not sure what parts are cast steel mentioned in the listing as the main bodies are anodized aluminum.I like the design that allows you to drill and install a fastener without moving the clamp. And the two sizes of drill bushings.Also appreciated are the extra replacement protective pads that will wear over time.Overall a great useful set of clamps.

This stainless steel and aluminum clamp 2-pack meets the engineering goals of Fit, Form, and Function. The pads and t-handle adjustments ensure a snug fit. The layout of the clamps and the jaw pieces hold my pieces for accuracy and drilling. See my photos. And the smooth micro adjustments of the stainless-steel spindles allow my first-time alignment and locking without indenting my cabinet pieces. I can really clamp down when I have hard wood in the clamps, but for more delicate pieces it is refreshing to hold with only a tiny bit of torque. First time installing cabinets and these saved me. The integrated drill guide kept my pilot holes straight and centered every time. Clamps feel sturdy, EVA pads protect the finish. The storage case is a nice bonus. Would buy again.
