I’ve been using these for yard work and fishing, and they’ve been pretty comfortable so far. The coating gives a good grip even when handling wet or slippery items, and the gloves are flexible enough that I can still use my hands normally instead of feeling bulky.They also feel more protective than regular thin work gloves, which is useful when handling tools, branches, or fishing gear. The fit was good for me and the wrist stays in place well.Overall, a nice pair of general-purpose work gloves. Good grip, decent protection, and comfortable enough to wear for longer jobs.

I ordered these work gloves for my brother to use while rebuilding parts of our fence, and at first he really liked them. They fit well and seemed like they would be great for the job. Unfortunately, on the third day, a splinter went right through the black portion of one of the gloves.He switched to a different pair after that. I think these would probably be fine for lighter work, but based on our experience, I would not recommend relying on them for jobs involving knives, hammers, nails, or rough wood where splinters are a concern. They seemed great initially, but the splinter getting through was a significant disappointment.

I got these gloves thinking they were just another no name glove that would be fine but probably annoying to use as I usually prefer to have my hands uncovered during project work. But these gloves have greatly exceeded my expectations.I normally wear a size large in gloves and I ordered the Medium-Large size and they fit very good. The base glove is stretchy so I would size down if you are in between sizes like I was. That said, the rubberized coating on the hand does not stretch much so I wouldn't size down too much. I really like the fit of these gloves and often forget that I'm wearing them, which is unusual. The length of the fingers was perfect for me and the wrist cuff was tight enough to keep the gloves properly position with no ingress to debris and at the same time not so tight as to cause discomfort.My use case was for rehabbing my deck, tear down of rotted wood, handling of lumber, & protection from painting. These are ANSI rated cut resistant gloves that really provide a lot more protection than you would expect. And the rubberized coating provides a very nice feel in use with a lot of grip, very similar to using bare hands. It is also sleek & thin enough to not cause any problems in regards to extra bulk. So all-in-all I highly recommend these gloves.

I got these gloves for my neighbor’s kid who comes and helps with yardwork. He does a lot of trimming, weeding, hauling branches, a little bit of handyman stuff. He’s 15 and he does a great job but his attention is often on his phone so I thought it would be a good idea to get these gloves to help protect his hands. He likes them but says they are a little snug and I got him a large, so I think the gloves run small. The safety is ANSI 5 so that should be good for our purposes. He has dexterity and grip with them. Important to him, he can still use his phone. He said he likes them because he can haul branches and brush without worry about cutting his hands or getting a thorn. I like knowing he’s more protected. They are reasonably priced and have been durable so far, so I’ll probably get a larger second pair for him.

I got these gloves for filleting large offshore fish with sharp gill plates. Specifically, Red Snapper, because I am tired of slicing my hands on their gill plates. The gloves do a good job of protecting your hands and offer good grip on slippery fish. I ordered the largest size that is offered, and although my hands are not unusually large, these gloves are still too small to fit me. I like that they are cut-resistant, and they offer good grip, but I won't be ordering these in the future because they run small in size. Three Stars given.

After a traumatic injury as a child when fishing and getting a hook caught deep in my hand, I now fish with gloves on.Sure, some anglers may not think that's all that cool or manly to wear gloves but I'm a believer in protecting your hands and if I get them wet, I always bring a backup. In fact, I purchase inexpensive work gloves like I buy my rods and reels and sunshirts, it's something I depend on.I do have strict rules and that is that the fit is not too tight (I get size large) and it provides protection, especially with those treble hooks.I had the opportunity to use the Geniao Cut Resistant ANSI 5 Work Gloves. Now the gloves I currently use are designed for basic barrier protection and traction rather than high-risk industrial safety compliance which may not have an ANSI rating but could probably be classified as ANSI 1. These gloves are rated ANSI 5. Which means they are cut resistant gloves and the type of gloves you want to use around blades and sharp objects.My purpose is fishing and as I mentioned, had a traumatic experience as a kid when I went fishing and getting a hook embedded in my hand. And since then, this year alone, I don't know how many times gloves have protected my hand (especially from treble hooks from lures).These gloves, I went fishing with them and they are rather snug, not too constricting but not as loose as my other size large gloves. But I actually did a few tests as I had to switch over a few rigs and lures over the weekend and there were a few times that could have made me bled but the gloves actually did well from protecting me from getting jabbed on the palm of my hand, but even the top (which doesn't have the protective portion but nevertheless, still protected my hand). And in another instance, had a small mishap where my line got caught on my alarm line detector and I had to reel in a big carp by hand and thank goodness I had these gloves because I have literally cut my hands when I was foolish not to wear gloves and had to pull in a huge catfish by line and cut my finger. Another is going through steep inclines with jagged, thorny weeds while fishing in certain spots. Again, always a reminder for me of the importance of having gloves when I fish.And last, if you live in hot areas and don't want sun exposure on your hand, another positive as I'm always practicing UV protection via neck gaiter, hat, hoodie, gloves, long sleeve sunshirts, etc. as I have known people who have contracted skin cancer from outdoor exposure and not protecting themselves good enough.But for the most part, while ANSI 5 may be overkill for fishing but I am glad I have that extra protection. They provide extra protection that can be used for other types of jobs, especially if you do a lot of cutting, construction or industrial work.At under $30, you get three gloves which you probably are paying $9.99 a glove. But so worth it for the extra protection. The Geniao Cut Resistant ANSI 5 Work Gloves are recommended!
