The matte black finish is nice, and they would fit well in a farmhouse, traditional, or rustic-style space.One thing to know is that these are not solid wrought iron like they appear in the listing photos. They’re made from a hollow metal (zinc alloy), so they’re much lighter than I expected. Because of that, I’d use them for bath towels, hand towels, lightweight bags, hats, or keys rather than heavy backpacks or coats loaded with gear.The listing photos also show black screws, but mine actually came with black screw caps that snap over the screw heads. It’s a slightly different look, but once installed it still gives a clean, finished appearance.Overall, they’re attractive decorative hooks that look nice on the wall. Just keep your expectations realistic—they’re better suited for everyday lightweight items than heavy-duty storage.

I do really like the look of these hooks, and think they go with most any decor. The dark, black rubbed oil look complements today's modern style of bronze or oil rubbed furnishings and fixtures.The packages come with dark colored screw head caps to blend in with the dark hooks. The hooks themselves are a zinc alloy. It does not mention the max. weight each hook holds, so I would assume you could use it for the normal everyday items like coats and purses, umbrellas, etc.The hooks are hollow on the inside if you see my pic. of the inside of one of them. Wall anchors and screws are included to mount these directly to your wall. You could also mount them to a board and screw that board into the wall, as shown in their photos.I will be using these in our remodeled laundry room to hang extra clothing and shirts from, as well as laundry. These hooks will be very useful. We already have several hook boards in our mudroom, which is just before you get to the laundry room (which will be there). Currently, there is a powder room after the mudroom, and we want to add a laundry room after the mudroom, and a full-size bathroom after the laundry room. So there will be plenty of need for clothing hooks in all 3 rooms.The price of $16 for the set of 4 makes each hook $4 each, and you can get a similar hook package of 4 for $13, making each hook $3.25 right here on Amazon, so maybe the price of this pack should come down by $3 to remain competitive.

I’m very happy with these hooks! They feel very sturdy and durable.
