Great decorative bulb. This is one of those bulbs that you want to put in a fixture where it will be seen. I have a “farmhouse” style (copper with a half dome on top, leaving bottom open and visible), pendant light in my kitchen, I had tried several decorative bulbs but none that really stood out. This bulb makes a statement, with its Edison style filament in such a large bulb, it’s an “eye catcher”. I’m using it more for decor than illumination as it’s a 60 watt bulb, and since my kitchen is dark, I usually use my ceiling pot lights when I need a lot of light anyway I haven’t noticed any issues with flickering, and this bulb is dimmable so it can easily be used as a nightlight for wherever you put it. This is a very big lightbulb, (read the dimensions), offered at a fair price. Highly recommend.

I ordered this Rynxphera G125 oversized LED bulb because I wanted something much larger than a standard bulb for a new plug-in amber glass pendant light I recently added above a display rack in my living room. The fixture came with a standard E26 socket, but its product photos showed a much smaller bulb. I thought an oversized globe would better fill the opening, and it turned out to be exactly the vintage look I was hoping for.At 6.9" tall and nearly 5" wide, this bulb definitely becomes part of the décor instead of disappearing into the fixture. The warm 2700K color temperature creates a cozy glow, and the clear glass lets the vintage style LED filaments remain visible without looking overly harsh. Even though it only uses 8 watts, the rated 900 lumens produce plenty of light, absolutely brightening this corner of my living room.What surprised me most, well maybe not "surprised", but I can't believe how beautiful the light looks shining through the amber ripple glass shade- just like I 'hoped" from the listing pictures. The warm light reflects through the textured glass and bounces off the mirrors, crystal accents, and metallic décor around my display cabinet, giving that entire corner of the room a cozy industrial-glam look that I absolutely love!Installation was as simple as screwing it into the E26 socket, and it lit immediately with no flicker or buzzing. Just keep in mind that this is a very large decorative bulb, so you'll want to make sure your fixture has enough room to show it off. The quality of the glass and construction look excellent, the large size is exactly as described, and the rated 25,000-hour lifespan means I shouldn't have to think about replacing it for a very long time. In our creaky old Victorian home, we have had to replace a lot of light fixtures, as the house was 100% gas lit when it was built. Some of the newfangled electric lighting has been experimental, ordering online, and we've accidentally gone too big or too small for the area. Such is the case with an oversized pendant light in our front stairwell, which takes a standard E26 bulb, but a standard bulb gets swallowed by the fixture.When the too-small bulb went out, we decided to go massive for the bulb too, to make it work in the space. This Rynxphera G125 Large Globe Light Bulbs 60 Watt Equivalent, Dimmable E26 Oversized Vintage bulb seemed like a fun and antiquey thing to try. As you can see from the pics, this large amber bulb is exactly the retro aesthetic this light fixture wanted.The bulb is a bit pricey but we don't use that stairwell often, so it will last a long time. It adds just enough brightness, without any flickering, to keep the area well-lit and safe.I only have one small complaint about the filament, which is obviously crooked within the bulb. It is a little annoyance, but every time I look at it, lit or off, I notice and it irks me because there's nothing we can do to fix it.

I got this as a decorative piece, and it works well for adding a little visual interest without being too much. It has a nice look to it and fits in easily with the rest of my decor.My overall impression is positive. The main thing I like is that it is simple, attractive, and easy to use as an accent piece. I ordered this huge LED light bulb for a pendant lamp in our dining room. What I found is that this light is really, really, bright! It seems to be quite a bit more than a 60 watt equivalent (more like 150 watt equivalent). It actually turned out to be a bit too big for my application, but I'll find somewhere else to use this great looking bulb (where I have a dimmer). It seems to be a well made bulb, but at nearly $20, perhaps a bit expensive. Still, it makes a statement, and that statement is "damn, I'm bright!". Enjoy.

Nice item. Works as expected. As seen in the fourth photo it does not get too hot to touch. Of course, that was only a few minutes after turning it on, but the old bulbs usually got too hot to touch almost immediately.I have two oversized bulbs in my bathroom standing lamp fixture, and they are factory-painted black and white. They look nice and the shade only partially covers them. I can see this one being used alone, a shade would be difficult to find, but it would have to be in the right lamp, and located in the right spot.
