We have used this type of seal for many things around and after seeing the full spectrum of quality I can say this one is one of the nicer ones.-It came in well packaged in perfect shape. Rolled tightly but not crimped, twisted or warped like some have come in.-It did not really come with installation instructions.You will need to make sure the area is well cleaned, probably with rubbing alcohol, and dry before installation. Otherwise it will not stick as well. On that note you will want to leave it for at least 12 hours before water exposure. You may need some extra sealant on the ends or on uneven surfaces depending on your application.-As long as you have proper prep this has good adhesion.-It seems well made with the materials being sturdy, strong yet flexible.-It is easy to cut with a pair of regular scissors.-At the current price of $33 for the 98 inches you get it is actually a bit cheaper than the same shape/style available from others.Overall I would have to say this stuff is holding up nicely and keeping the water where we want it.

The flexible design creates a low-profile barrier that's easy to step over while still doing an excellent job of directing water back toward the drain instead of letting it spread across the bathroom floor.The silicone material feels durable and flexible, allowing it to conform to slight variations in the floor without becoming stiff or brittle. It was easy to trim to the exact length needed with a utility knife, and the transparent finish blends into the floor much better than expected, making it far less noticeable once installed.What I like most is that it solves a common problem without requiring major remodeling. The collapsible design is comfortable to step over, and once the adhesive has fully cured, the barrier stays firmly in place during normal use. It has significantly reduced water escaping the shower and keeps the dry area much cleaner.There are a couple things to keep in mind. I recently installed a frameless shower door at my house, and unfortunately the walls on my shower were not perfectly plum/square. When my sliding door contacts the walls, there were gaps up to 1/4" between gasket and wall, so I knew I needed to find something to block water from getting out when I use my handheld sprayer.This water dam product is really the perfect size for what I needed. It fits along the wall between the where the doors fit in the groove. The material is thick, yet pliable. The material came coiled up in a roll, and when I unrolled it, I didn't notice any kinks or creases that remained.Installation was really easy. I just peeled off the film from the adhesive backing, and after doing a little surface prep (wiping wall with rubbing alcohol), the water dam material stuck with a strong adhesive bond to the wall. I've showered in it multiple times now and the material shows no hint of detatching.In my situation, this material functioned perfectly to keep water from spraying out of the shower. Whatever water does get past my uneven gasket hits this water dam and falls back down inside the lip of the shower pan.In terms of compatibility, I had zero issues with this material. If you plan on installing it in a similar fashion to how I did, you will want to measure the gap between your shower doors.In terms of value, I believe this product is competitively priced in the marketplace. I would order it again at this price if I come to need additional strips for other shower installations.

I needed a way to close the gap between the metal siding and base of the flimsy metal shed I purchased. This silicone water dam fit perfectly. The soft top allows the siding to have cushion but also flex which is just what I wanted in case there are high winds it will not deform the metal bottom. The stickiness is very sticky so you can adjust it for a couple of times but after it dries it's sticks good 😊. Just cut, peel backing, and stick very simple application. It definitely served my purpose of keeping bugs out too. This is a great product but I deducted 1 ⭐ because I feel it's a little over priced. Looks Great and seems like it will last. Definitely thicker and better made than some other thin types I have used in the past. Another huge plus is that this is made from silicone so it's compatible with silicone sealant. Everything great except value.
