It’s a cool elegant look. You have the two sconce bases with a glass housing that is held in place with three screws. I love the look just keep in mind that the glass cylinder that covers the light bulb is going to be a little fragile because of how it is held in place. Not a great choice if these are going to get banged into by kids or animals. If you break the globe finding another is going to be a challenge. The structure of the light base itself is very solid and installation is straightforward.

I am reviewing this 2 pack of wall sconces, I chose matte black, which came well packaged and the build is sturdy and attractive. I kind of wish I had chose the gold but matte black works well with other metals. What makes them so attractive is the glass cylinder that holds a T30 bulb. (The bulbs I purchased separately and made sure they were dimmable). The clear glass also does not deflect the light so consider the color tone and dimmability before purchasing bulbs. These light fixtures will be going in my bathroom on either side of a mirror that is currently under construction. I chose a neutral light but made them dimmable so it didn’t glare as much. They fit into any transitional type design, but give a little bit of the old world feel. The photos I included were of a temporary placement to share what they look like in action. My husband had no problem wiring them up. I consider them good value for the price for two and feel confident recommending them.

These sconces are everything I was looking for and more. Everything is so well done. I have never received a light fixture so carefully packed. The glass tubes are very delicate with actual hold in the glass itself. That alone fascinated me. The holes are perfectly placed and attached in an unusual way from other light fixture, including s concession. If I had a second box in the right position wired I could easily have these already installed. The hardwiring is straightforward, at least from my perspective, and as long as great care is used putting the glass tube ‘globes’ on these sconces are finally going to finish my fireplace area. The light is bit pricey but the quality is extraordinary.

Ursola’s gold wall sconces are uber elegant. The design borders on timeless and would add a chicness to a variety of decors. Their physical stature is big enough to incorporate a five-inch T30 bulb, yet small enough not to overwhelm a modest space such as a powder room. Although I chose the gold tone, the fixtures also come in a nickel or black finish. I cannot overemphasize the quality of these fixtures enough; they have a good heft to them, they are made out of metal and glass, and seemed to be built to last a lifetime. They come in pairs, with a straightforward installation, and are compatible with dimmer switches. I like using Lutron dimmers, which are readily available on Amazon.

We have a 1940's home and wanted something for the bathroom that would 'modernize' the look without looking 'modern' and these sconces fit the bill perfectly! They're very stylish and elegant while fitting very well between traditional and modern aesthetic. The glass is very fragile though, so don't use this in an area there it may be hit, such as a hallway or where there will be foot traffic - but it is perfect for bathroom vanity setting.
