This sanding disc set has quickly become my go to for finish sanding and polishing projects. The assortment runs from 320 up through 1000 grit, which gives you a genuinely useful progression for smoothing surfaces, preparing for paint or stain, and working toward a final polish, all without needing to buy separate packs for each stage. The hook and loop backing attaches securely to my random orbital sander, and disc changes are quick and easy. Each disc stayed firmly in place during use without slipping, and removal was just as simple when it was time to switch grits. The backing has also held up well over repeated use, with no premature separation or tearing. I really appreciate that the grit number is clearly printed on the back of each disc, so there's no guessing or mixing up stages when you're moving through a project. The silicon carbide abrasive cuts evenly and consistently, and I've put these to work on wood, metal, plastics, automotive paint, and even glass. They perform well for both dry sanding and wet sanding, and the waterproof construction is a nice bonus, helping reduce dust and giving an even finer finish when wet sanding. During wet sanding especially, the discs resist loading reasonably well and maintain their flexibility, holding together noticeably better than a lot of cheaper discs I've tried in the past. The finish quality is smooth and uniform, particularly on metal and painted surfaces, which matters a lot for automotive and restoration work where scratch consistency counts.Given the price, the quantity and grit range included make this a strong value. Overall, this is a versatile, reliable set that delivers consistent results across woodworking, automotive, restoration, and general polishing projects.Pros:Wide, useful grit range from 320 to 1000 for progressive finishingHook and loop backing attaches securely and changes discs quicklyDiscs stay firmly in place during use without slippingClear grit labeling printed on the back of each discSilicon carbide abrasive cuts evenly on wood, metal, plastic, glass, and automotive paintPerforms well for both dry sanding and wet sandingWaterproof construction reduces dust and improves wet sanding finishResists loading and holds together better than many lower cost discsStrong overall value for the quantity and grit assortmentCons:No coarser grits included for initial material removal, strictly a finishing and polishing setBacking durability over very heavy, prolonged use is still being tested

At the current list price of $14.99 for 50 discs, this set is an excellent value compared to other options available to us in big box stores nearby, and they function just as well and last just as long. They are a good size for our orbital sander, and the hook and loop backing attaches securely and strongly. They were very easy to use, and the variety of grits was great for fine finishing and would be good for a variety of projects. I would prefer that they had holes in them to reduce the dust generation, but overall I’m happy with these for such a good value set.

Pretty good, all things considered. It was compatible with my sander and provided a smooth finish, so I'd say that's a win. The value for price was decent.

This is a great sandpaper kit that is well made and has good quality abrasives on the pads that work very well. It’s really nice that there is so many different grit options in the kit that make sanding a breeze no matter what level of finish you want for your wood or metal project. The pads fit easily and snugly on my 18 volt battery powered sander and the abrasives held up well to heavy use and got me easily through my project that I was working on without breaking a sweat. I was able to use all the different grits in succession to get a really fine and smooth finish that both looked and felt great. I still have over 45 pads left even after my project so these should last me a really long time, and I know I will get all the value out of them that I can. These are listed at a really fair price and will save you lots of money over going with the big box store name brands or buying from the supplier shop. Highly recommend these as they are well made and don’t break the bank while still doing an excellent job.

These are very good quality sanding discs. They are the type that should be used on pneumatic DA Sanders. There is no holes to flow dust and to keep them from loading up, they should be used wet. The backing material works very well with the hook and loop plate and have clear markings indicating size of the grit. They should be used in order if you want to be working towards a polished surface. The silicon carbide abrasive is hard enough to even work glass.

6inch wet/dry sanding discs. These run from 320 grit through 400, 600, 800 and 1000 grit. Requested this product to address scratches on a utility table that have accumulated over a few years. The table was made of high grade plywood and was used in a laundry room. I did an epoxy pour over it to protect the plywood from moisture and dings and dents. It held up better then expected but had began show a few deep surface scratches. I started dry sanding at 600 grit and then 800. The disc's quickly loaded up with epoxy. I believe this was due to friction heat. I then sprayed water mist and restarted at 600 going up to 1000 and the results were quite good. The surface had a dullness to it but no scratches remained. A light polyurethane spray brought back the clear sheen and the surface looks new. This table is only about 26" x 38". I went through 2 disc's of each of the 3 grits I used. My impression was that these disc's loaded up with epoxy rather quickly so that a fresh disc was needed. But at a price point of $14 for 50 sanding discs that I wouldn't be using on regular basis, its a good deal. That said, these discs are something I would seriously consider for a much larger project like a full table top pour or repair. $14 worth of sanding material per epoxy project is easy on the budget. I like these disc's mostly due to the grit variety and quantity offered. The quick build up and wear on the disc's was unexpected but I may have been expecting to much when dealing with epoxy.
