I’m redecorating my bathroom and going for an eclectic pseudo Victorian look. Think Chinoiserie wallpaper, gilt framed mirrors and picture frames, a gilt deer head bust wearing glasses with a pipe in its mouth, and a picture of a hedgehog holding a roll of toilet paper. I have a vision! A weird one, but a vision, okay?These ceiling tiles are going to fit in perfectly. I ordered the white ones because I plan to paint them and may antique them as well, although I haven’t completely decided yet. They’re sturdy but still lightweight, which is exactly what I wanted.The toilet room is fairly small, about 4 x 5 feet, so I’ll only need a few tiles for the ceiling. The room is also a very odd shape with one curved wall, almost like a squarish teardrop, so I’ll need to cut some of the tiles to fit. They look like they’ll be easy enough to cut with shears, which will make that much easier.I really like that these are the full 24 x 24 inch size, and the price is reasonable for the amount of coverage. I’m planning to install them with construction adhesive, and I think they’re going to pull the whole look together beautifully. I can’t wait to see how this wonderfully strange bathroom turns out!
