Definitely works on 4x4 broken posts. Also gets around concrete used to secure posts when the post was installed.

Trying to get more life out of my 36 year old split rail fence. The wood posts were mostly degenerated at the base of the post. I use these fence anchors to support the split rail posts and now there not wobbly anymore!

Good product. Used 2 so far and dont need to replace the posts!

I had a fence that was leaning toward my neighbor's property, so I purchased this kit to reinforce the fence post from his side. The system works by bracing the post in the opposite direction of the lean, and it did exactly what I needed. My neighbor was able to install it easily, and the fence is now standing straight again. I may even purchase a second kit to install on my side as additional reinforcement in case the fence ever starts leaning the other way.The brackets are sturdy, made from heavy-duty metal, and feel built to last. Based on the quality and how well it performed, I expect this kit to help extend the life of my fence for many more years.Overall, I'm very pleased with the results and would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple and effective solution for a leaning fence post.

This fence post repair kit is a really practical solution if you’re dealing with leaning or damaged posts but don’t want to go through the hassle of digging everything out and resetting it in concrete. The heavy-duty steel construction (heavier than I thought it would be!) and reinforced design make it feel solid and built to last, even in rough weather conditions, and the one-piece welded build gives it a noticeable edge over cheaper, bolt-together options that can loosen over time. What stands out most is how easy it is to use and being able to hammer it directly into the ground and stabilize a post in just a few minutes is a huge time-saver compared to traditional repair methods. It distributes pressure well through its H-bracket design, which helps reduce wobble and keeps posts upright and secure. One underrated benefit is that it works really well as a temporary template when setting new posts. You can use it to quickly position and hold your post in place while checking alignment and spacing before committing to a permanent install like concrete...makes the whole process more controlled and accurate.Overall, it’s a smart, durable tool for quick repairs or even helping with new fence layouts, especially if you prefer efficient DIY solutions without sacrificing stability.
