As long as the one you currently have mounted has a ceiling box that accommodates the size and weight of this fixture, while also having screw holes in spots that line up with this one's.Wires:Black - HotWhite - NeutralBare Copper - GroundIf you need to use the wall anchors, I HIGHLY suggest you use better ones than what are provided. Small anchors tend to work their way out of walls/ceilings over time and rather quickly if they are too small to carry the load of the fixture's weight. I would use the more substantial screw-in type of anchor. Typically they have better holding power and aren't so likely to work their way out. Just make sure to match the anchor type to the ceiling/wall that you are installing this light onto.This fixture has a sleek look and is modern in appearance. The white of the fixture body is a flat colour, there is no shine to the outside of it. This makes it blend in with most ceilings, so that the light is the real focus and the fixture is a minimal one. The LEDs are nicely bright and they can be used with a dimmer. Although you need to choose a light temperature after you have mounted the light, but before you install the slice, it is possible to change the temp with a little gentle pressure on the slice to be able to remove it & reach the switch. This is SO much better than the lights which have the colour temperature switch in a location that is not accessible without removing the entire fixture. While slightly less convenient than if the fixture had a remote, still easier than having to take the fixed portion down to alter things.Overall I like this LED fixture. The fact it isn't screaming for attention works well in a room that has a low ceiling. It blends in rather than stands out. The current price is within an acceptable range.Made in China

This is a great looking ceiling light, once it’s installed. It has an array of LEDs, both blue and yellow that can be set to different combination to give different color temperatures (3000k to 6000k). The center setting (4000K) has both on full brightness, and seems the best setting for maximum brightness. However, after several days, I’m thinking it may not be quite as bright as the 2 LED bulbs that it replaced.It looks great though, but there are a few issues. First, there was no hook included to hang the lamp while installing the wire nuts. This made it incredibly difficult to install, and you will need to find some method to hang the lamp while tying the wire nuts. The second issue is the frosted diffuser – it is inserted once, and can never be removed again (not easily, at least). I just rests via gravity on the bottom lip of the lamp, but if you want to get it out, it’s tricky. Make sure you set the correct color temperature before inserting it.Overall, this lamp looks great, although it was tough to install, and doesn’t seem quite as bright as I’d like. Overall, 4 stars, since it looks great, and still functions well enough.

this is bright enough and adjustable in warmth enough to light a good sized space, but they're very plain looking and feel cheaply constructedyou won't notice that once they're mount don a ceiling, though, so for a room in which you don't expect the ceiling light to contribute to the decor it really boils down to price and alternative fixtures you're consideringI assigned 3 stars because they'll do the job but i'm hoping to find something more substantial and better looking

I’m seriously so stoked about this light! We’re currently finishing our basement, so I’ve been in full decorating and fixture-planning mode, and this is one of the pieces I’m most excited to install. The drywall is finally hung and taped, and we’re just waiting for the texture and skim coat before I can start hanging all my lights and ceiling fans. I already have several fixtures laid out and ready to go, and honestly, once the lighting goes up, it completely changes the whole feel of a space.What I love most about this light is that you can adjust the brightness depending on the mood or what you’re doing. As a replacement fixture, this is perfectly fine since it's very easy to install thanks to its generous wire leads (I've encountered too many that were ridiculously short). It's also extremely lightweight, which makes sense since it's built that way. For its intended use it doesn't need to be any heavier, so that's fine as well since it's not as if visitors will be lifting it to verify its heft.Just to clarify the AI generated ad text, this is NOT a flush mount fixture, it is a surface mount, and while it is a very low profile design, it sits on the face of the finished ceiling and is not recessed so that the lens is even and flush with the ceiling. It comes with a frosted acrylic lens that does illuminate across its face, but there's still a noticeable hot spot visible relative to the lens diameter that is telegraphed by the small-ish in comparison LED array. At this price point I think the manufacturer should have dispersed the diodes more evenly.The rated 24 watts strikes me as somewhat inspirational since the equivalent wattage in a incandescent bulb would be roughly 150 watts or more (using the commonly accepted 6-7 watt comparison ration between the two type), and this fixture at full power and brightest color ain't equal to a daylight 150 watt incandescent. It's still more than adequate for a hall or stair landing, but probably not the best choice for bedroom, for example.Being LED equipped the fixture should provide somewhere around 10 to 15 years of service before going black, so for context, an equivalent 100 watt incandescent is going to need replacing about every 1,000 hours, so at the same level of use (about 5 hours a day) that bulb is going to need changing twice a year, a more expensive halogen about once a year, and another not cheap option of a CFL maybe once every 5-7 years. That's why LEDs are taking over the world, but they do have limits and design features that can make some better and others worse.Larger boards that do double duty as cooling devices to keep the controllers comfortable are always better that smaller cramped ones, and this light uses the latter. I've no ide or information available about the type of controlled that they use, so it's always best to assume that the cheapest is in play when that's the case, and the cheapest controller will definitely not help the diodes last to their fullest potential. For that reason I only attributed them to having about a 30,000 hour useful life rather than the 50,000 hours realized by the higher quality systems.This is likely a conscious decision by the maker who realizes that most consumers don't know and don't care about any of the finer points and simply make their buying decision based on physical size, features (like changeable color temperatures and dimming) and the fact that it has LED on the label. As far as value for the money goes, there isn't much here. For the same money a cursory check elsewhere on Amazon brings forth a 54 watt, 24" diameter room illuminating fixture, and a quick search for the same size and wattage brings up an offer for two of twenty bucks less than this, so I would strongly suggest shopping around, and remember; caveat emptor (Buyer Beware).

This is a beautiful ceiling light. It’s white in color. It’s about 12 inches in diameter and has built-in LEDs. It’s hardwired in the ceiling and does not require an install plate to connect to the junction box.This ceiling light is a minimalist modern ceiling light. It would go well in a bedroom, kitchen, hallway, laundry room, or entryway, according to the manufacturer.I personally would use it in the bedroom. It has five separate CCT co-op temperatures that you can set they are adjustable upon installation. You can set it for 2700° Kelvin to 3000° Kelvin, 3300° Kelvin to 3500° Kelvin, 3800° Kelvin to 4000° Kelvin, 4400° Kelvin to 5000° Kelvin, or 5000° Kelvin to 6000° Kelvin.These lights are also dimmable if you have a dimmer switch to operate them, which is not included.Installation is as easy as this: it connects directly to an existing junction box in the ceiling. It’s very light, and most junction boxes can support it. Please see the attached video with some instructions on installation and the use of the wires and connecting it to the ceiling with those wires.When doing a self-installation, I always strongly recommend that you make sure the circuit breaker is off. It is the junction box you were going to start working on. I also strongly recommend that if you don’t have one yet, you obtain an electrical testing device.Whenever I do electrical work, I always use an electrical testing device. It looks like a red pen when you push the top of the pen instead of a ballpoint. It comes out with a little red light to let you know it’s operating. When you bring the tip of the plastic pen near any energized wire. It starts chirping like a bird, and the light starts flashing. If I bring the tip of the pen near a 240 V clothes dryer line, it chirps twice as loudly and flashes twice as fast. This is an important safety device for your own personal safety when working with electrical wires.If you do choose to install it yourself, the manufacturer provides all the necessary parts and very clear, well-stated instructions, as I did when I installed it correctly.
