Nice upgrade!!

We ordered this foam decking a few months ago, and overall, it’s a massive upgrade for the boat. The absolute best part is how much cooler it stays on bare feet compared to scorching hot fiberglass. Cleaning it is incredibly low-maintenance too—you can just spray it down with a hose and any dirt or mess washes right off. Installation was fairly straightforward thanks to the adhesive backing, but my biggest piece of advice is to absolutely measure twice and cut once so you don't ruin a sheet. We used three rolls for our bass tracker Pro. The adhesive has surprisingly held up in the sun and weather. In my opinion, it is slightly overpriced for what it is, but the comfort and convenience make it worth the investment. If you’re hesitant to rip up your existing flooring, go for it! You won’t regret it!

coolers, boats, and more!

I used this to replace some worn-out flooring on my boat, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. The EVA foam is comfortable to stand on, provides plenty of grip even when it's wet, and instantly made the boat look newer. It was easy to cut with a sharp utility knife, so fitting it around hatches and odd shapes wasn't difficult. The adhesive has held better than I expected. As long as you take the time to thoroughly clean and prep the surface before sticking it down, it bonds really well. The material feels durable enough to handle fishing gear, coolers, and people constantly walking over it.For the money, it's a great upgrade if your old carpet is worn out or you just want something that's easier to clean. It gives the boat a much more modern look without spending a fortune on custom decking.

Easy decking upgrade for a boat project

This EVA foam boat flooring is a good option for cleaning up a deck and adding some grip. The material feels comfortable underfoot and the non slip texture helps make the surface feel safer when wet.The adhesive backing makes installation pretty straightforward as long as the surface is cleaned and prepped first. It cuts easily, so shaping it around corners or smaller areas is not too difficult.Once installed, it gives the boat a much more finished look. Overall, a solid DIY marine decking option for a jon boat, pontoon, skiff, or other small boat project.

This is a high-quality flooring mat. Really impressed me. The material and pattern are durable and high quality and definitely improves your grip on any surface. The self-adhesion is really good. Brings a lot of trusting using 3M materials and so far I have not had a problem. It was easy to install and cut. The mat is not very thick, but there is some cushion to it. There is an odor, but it fades away after a few days. I like the smell anyway - reminds me of a wetsuit. This is a very versatile product and not just for boats. This is a great product and I highly recommend it.

Camo Snow looks great and holds up well

I got this to use as decking around my pool, and it's worked out very well and I've been very happy with it so far.PROS:--The Camo Snow pattern looks great and gives the area a much nicer finished look.--The adhesive has held up well so far, even outdoors in the brutal heat, as long as you take the time to prep the surface properly before installing it.--It's easy to cut to size, and once it's installed it provides a comfortable, cushioned, non-slip surface.--It has held up well in the weather and has been easy to keep clean.CONS:--Surface prep is the most important part of the installation, and it does take quite a bit of time if you want the best results.--I think it's a little overpriced compared to similar products on the market.Overall, I'm very happy with it and would get it again.

Length was only 86.5" not 94.5". Mis cut maybe? still 4stars for good and sticky foam

Length showed 94.5" for the length. Mine was short and only measured 86.5". It wasn't an issue for me because I did not need that much in length for a single run. Check yours before using to make sure it will work for you.Now for the EVA foam itself. Seems to be well made and very sticky. I placed this on several spots around some fishing flatforms at the rear of my boat. Worked great. No more tired feeling feet and stays cool to the touch in direct sun.I did apply this inside my garage in a newly restored 16' skiff I set up for fishing flats. This went down easy as I precut all of the areas ahead of time. Due to the new restoration clean and prep for me was easy. After applying all of the places I did cover them with some weighted sandbags to apply equal pressure and left them overnight. So far, no feeling or flaking of the surface. The edges are down and no curling. So far it has been a great product for our boat.Minus the length being wrong I still gave it 4 stars.

Easy To Cut And Has A Good Grip Underfoot

[Size: 94.5"Lx23.6"W - 15.5sqft, Color: D-black]
This boat flooring mat has a soft foam feel with enough texture on top to make it feel useful underfoot. I laid it out and pressed my shoes on it to check the grip, and the striped surface felt secure instead of slick. The foam has some cushion to it, which makes it more comfortable than standing on a bare hard surface. It also has a clean look that makes a worn area look more finished. The material was easy to handle while checking it over. It is flexible enough to lay into place and line up, but it does not feel paper thin. I tested a small cut on an edge area, and the foam sliced cleanly with a sharp blade. That matters because flooring like this usually needs trimming around corners, curves, or hardware. The lines also help with keeping cuts looking straighter, as long as you take your time and do not rush the blade. The adhesive backing felt strong when I peeled a small section to test placement. I would be careful to line it up before pressing it down fully, because it feels like it wants to grab the surface once contact is made. Surface prep seems important with this kind of mat. Dust, damp spots, or old residue would probably make any adhesive backing less reliable. On a clean, smooth test spot, the corner I pressed down held firmly and did not lift while I checked it.The striped design gives it a marine style without looking too busy. The dark color looks practical because it should hide some dirt better than a pale mat. The grooves add grip and also give the surface more shape, so it does not look like a flat sheet of foam. When I stepped on it, the cushion was noticeable but not squishy in a way that felt unstable.I also like that it can be used in more than one type of space. Even though it is clearly made for boat flooring, it could work for a small platform, storage step, trailer area, or anywhere a bit of grip and cushion is useful. The only thing I would be careful with is placement, since adhesive backed flooring is not very forgiving once it is pressed down hard. It feels like a solid option for refreshing a surface, especially when you want something you can trim yourself and place neatly.

Works great in a basement too!

I know this is marketed as boat flooring, but I actually got it for a DIY basement project. We've had some water issues down there, and I needed something that could handle occasional moisture while still being comfortable enough for the kids to play on.For that purpose, it's been fantastic. The EVA foam feels surprisingly good underfoot. It's much softer and warmer than bare concrete, and it adds a little cushioning that makes the space feel more finished without the cost of installing traditional flooring. My kids immediately claimed the area as their new play zone, which is probably the toughest product test there is.The material was easy to cut and fit around obstacles, and installation was straightforward. I used a sharp utility knife and was able to customize pieces without much trouble. The adhesive backing stuck well once the floor was cleaned and prepped properly. One thing I really appreciate is how water-resistant it is. Since moisture was the entire reason I started looking for alternatives to carpet or laminate, having a flooring material that isn't going to panic every time water shows up is a huge relief. Cleanup is simple, and I don't have to worry about soggy padding or warped boards. The texture also provides good traction. Even when damp, it doesn't get slick, which gives me a little extra peace of mind with kids running around. The camouflage-style pattern won't be everyone's first choice for interior design, but honestly, it hides dirt, scuffs, and imperfections surprisingly well. In a basement utility/play space, that's a feature, not a bug.Overall, if you're buying this for a boat, I imagine it works great. But if you're a fellow homeowner trying to solve a tricky basement flooring situation without spending a fortune, this ended up being a surprisingly effective solution. Sometimes the best basement flooring comes from the marine section.
