This bulb is gorgeous!!! I have a pendant cord and wanted to get a pretty bulb rather than a regular bulb with a lampshade or cover. This is an oversized bulb, and it looks EXPENSIVE! The smoke grey effect combined with the fact that it's only 40w means you won't be reading by the light from across the room, but it is a BEAUTIFUL accent light! Its MUCH heavier than a regular bulb, so make sure your cord can handle it.Recommend!!!

This is a beautifully oversized light bulb. Although they are somewhat pricey, I believe these bulbs are stunning enough to justify the cost.The glass has a smokey tint, and a very unique shape, making it a real attention grabber.It provides light equivalent to a 40W incandescent bulb, which is perfect for creating ambient lighting without being too bright. Don't count on a bulb like this to light a room, it is more for decorative purposes.These bulbs look fantastic when combined with other large bulbs of various styles.I attempted to photograph the bulb while it was lit, but my camera struggled to capture what accurately reflects what the human eye sees. My photos don't fully capture the bulb’s true beauty; it looks much more impressive in person.As best as I can determine, the bulb looks well made. The glass appears to be fairly thick, but I would still recommend handling it carefully!I absolutely love these gorgeous bulbs and highly recommend them.

I have used a number of these oversized Edison lightbulbs over the years and only a few have stood out based on how nice they look in real life. This is one of them. I mainly like it for the appearance and not for how much light it puts out. It does put out enough light to read a book or do some crafting or art, but it's not really what I think this is for. This is great for setting a mood. If you are planning on lighting up a larger room with something like this, you should expect to need a few of them. I have this one and three others that are similar in my office to keep it comfortable in all areas of my office. I like this light in the lamp that I am showing in the image, but I think it also does nicely in a hanging light type of fixture. These work well on lamps that don't have shades or outer coverings. The coverings in most lamps are too small for this bulb. One thing I like about this bulb is that it is made of glass. There are those on the market that are made of plastic, but I prefer this type. But because it is glass you should consider the location and if it is possibly a large target for pets or kids. Overall I like the bulb and I think it looks like it was made with skill and care. It genuinely looks like a work of art to me. I love the colors and the tone of the light that this puts off. I think the asking price is fair for a bulky of this quality and I will likely buy these again in the future. 5 out of 5 stars.

When I came across this unusually shaped and incredibly large light bulb, I couldn’t resist its allure. I’ve been searching for a replacement for the nightlight in our living room, and I thought this bulb could serve as both a functional light source and a statement piece.Upon opening the box, I was delighted by its impressive size and asymmetrical design. The squiggly filament that occupies almost the entire length of the bulb, coupled with the thick glass, added to my excitement. It’s a beautiful example of a harmonious blend of form and function. Measuring approximately 11 inches from top to bottom and 6.5 inches wide, it’s a massive bulb. Its weight is quite substantial, at 11.3 ounces, due to the thick glass used in its construction.When turned on, the bulb emits a captivating glow from its unique filament. The warm and welcoming light it emits generates very little heat, making it an ideal accent light. With the dimming function, it transforms into an impressive nightlight. When turned off, the silver sheen of the glass turns it into a captivating sculpture. Since it’s dimmable, I’ve ordered a smart socket that allows for this feature. I’ll set up a schedule to ensure we can fully appreciate its beauty and light.

I have a very large collection of Phillips Hue smart bulbs in my house, and I'm always adding to my collection of fixtures and lamps. I usually don't stray outside of that ecosystem, but I had to take a shot on this build because of the unique look, and I’m glad I did. First off, this thing is huge in an awesome way. It came in fully intact, and they package the bulb very well using high-density foam. It looks exactly as pictured and really stands out both when it's switched on and when it's off. I also like that it's not too bright. It will light an area, but sometimes with bulbs like these, you want to be able to look directly at them when they're on, but if they are too bright, you really can't unless you're at a distance. This one you can really take in without hurting your eyes. It also doesn't get very warm, so you can touch it when it's on without burning yourself. It's a really cool showpiece bulb, and overall, I’m really happy with it.
