This handrail has a solid, dependable feel to it and the quality is better than I expected. The metal is thick and has a smooth, clean finish that works indoors but feels durable enough for outdoor steps too. The mounting brackets are sturdy, and once installed, the rail doesn’t shift or flex at all. The 6‑foot length is great for covering a full stair run, and the curved ends give it a more polished look. Installation was straightforward, and the hardware lined up without any issues. This heavy duty and easy to install 6 foot wall mounted handrail by YEOOE is attractive and well built with a beautiful blemish-free black powder coat finish. This unit is so strong you probably pull a truck with it. I love the minimalist and industrial look it has. The price is very reasonable for it's build quality, ease of installation, and aesthetics. While this handrail has possibilities as a great support for people who might need it, it really doesn't address any of the concerns that I had regarding said handrails. The length is not adjustable in any way. It comes with plenty of screws and anchors to keep it marginally attached to the wall, but it is not angled to any USA OC framing measurements. This rail needs to be attached to the wall studs, otherwise people can unsafely grab onto these rails and possibly fall. The rail is not adjustable in any way, so in order to connect the rails to wall studs you need to line the holes up with the studs regardless of the angle or distance of the railing in relation to the wall studs. I would not recommend this railing, because of the non-adjustability of it.

Amazon invited me to review this. In my area exterior rails are not required, but steps to raised entrances are common. Since we have guests with limited mobility, these steps are a natural challenge. If there is a wall available, a wall-mounted rail like this can help. Ideally a handrail should extend one tread length beyond the top step and reach past the bottom step. Minimally it should extend beyond the edges of the top and bottom steps. Your local building code may specify, but for Colorado, three or less steps do not require a handrail, so adding one is optional. Sometimes a landing is inserted to break up more than three steps. (None of the pictures of handrails with stairs in the description are installed according to code, which also specifies that a rail cannot be broken (including by a bracket) from top to bottom.)These have flat mounting plates welded onto the rail at both ends and in the middle, with a joint just above the middle bracket. Sheet metal/drywall screws are provided, along with drywall anchors. This is not a good way to install a stair railing unless some of the 4 screws on each bracket go directly into wood studs or masonry walls. Clearly a stair rail needs to not only support itself but also people hanging, tugging, and leaning on it.I rated this product 5 stars because it is durable metal suitable for installation outside, not because it meets code. I will install it as an aid for better access next to a one or two step transition between levels. My guests with limitations will thank me.

Good construction, if you are drilling directly into wood beams you are good to go.Hardware leaves a bit to be desired. Mollys spun in place on the drywall, so I ended up having to buy some from the hardware store. Screws are countersunk, but the plate is not meaning the screws wont be countersunk.Still for the money, its worth it, just know it could cost you another $5 in hardware.
