Good product.... Keep in mind it's a half in bigger than standard... It's squared off not rounded like standard... But it is good quality and I got it to work on a round 3 inch cutout... If your doors stick from sweating in summer it will make it tighter just to keep in mind cause it will overlap a standard 3 inch rounded cut out....

I work on commercial doors for a living, and therefore I had to see what heavy duty residential door hinges are. I expected the hinges to be a bit higher of a gauge. These currently will not support a door over 200 lbs reliably for a long period of time. Solid core wood doors would be the max for these. I think these are overpriced and overhyped as heavy duty. This is mid level hinges at best. They are priced a bit high for what they are. They do function smoothly, so I will give them that, but with the quality, and the price tag, I would say these are not worth it.

I used this to hang some fairly heavy barn doors, three per door. I ended up using different screws, because the ones that came with the hinges seemed like they might not be up to the job. (I find that's often the case with 'heavy duty' hinges. They should really come with 'heavy duty' screws.)The operation of the hinges is smooth, and quiet. The chamfered holes let the screw heads lie flat, instead of sticking up, which is a nice touch. I don't mind that the pin can't be removed, since there's no situation where I can imagine having to do it.I got the stainless finish, and although they've only been there a week, I have no doubt that in a few years they'll still look pretty much the way they do now.The price seems more than fair for this quantity, and this level of quality.
