So far its been working great. Cats figured it out quickly and they feel safe on the deck. Recommend that you install it high enough that it hangs right close to floor but not on the floor. I have 1/2 in on bottom of floor and it can leave a small gap flies get inHowever it's really adjustable and Im just lazy😄 The pins are a great idea, you will need a small hammer to get them in real wood.

I'm very pleased with this magnetic screen door. Installation was easy and straight forward. It looks nicer than I expected and blends well with the doorway. The magnetic closure works well, opening easily when you walk through and then sealing itself back up behind you. I used this for a basement room that leads out to a patio. The room has no windows. With this in place I am able to open the door to let fresh air in while still keeping bugs out. Overall it's a great value and perfect for what I was looking for.

I love my screen. But the Velcro was starting to peel off so I did have to buy some carpet tacks to tack it up. Other than that my dog loves to be able to go in and out on his own now.

it is very sturdy and very good. I just ordered the wrong size. It’s a little big for my patio door, but I’m making it work.

If you look at the pictures in the listing it looks like the opening is about 4 or 5 inches from the door frame. But if you're buying a double wide version (I bought the 60x80 version) to fit over a sliding patio door, the opening is about 19 inches from the door frame. For a tall guy like me it means I have to sorta turn sideways to go through the screen. If the opening was close to the where the door latches (like it does on the single-wide version) it would be much easier to push my way through. I shopped for this screen on Amazon and looked at all the different competitors and bought this one specifically because the pictures showed the opening close to the door frame (not in the middle) -- so I was disappointed. If I had bought one with the opening in the middle I would have been better off since with this one it's not even in the middle -- it's over to the wrong side! I guess I'm gonna have to order one of those custom-made ones where you tell the seller exactly what you want.Other than that, it's fine.

I was debating to buy a hardware type retractable sliding screen or this type.I chose this for simplicity.I installed this to the inside of the door frame rather than the outside face of the door frame.I want to keep the look of the door frame rather than to cover it up. This, to me, would have been very unpleasant in looks.I used cable staples to fasten the screen to the door frame, which, if I ever need to remove the screen, I can easily do so with needle nose pliers, as these staples have an elevated rounded nose.I like the clean look, I'm just waiting for gravity to take its effect to smooth out the fabric.By the way, I'm Not Sure How Air Flow works with this screen. The pereration holes are very micro small, but somehow, air flow does happen. I can honestly say no bugs will be coming in at all through this screen.So far, we as a family are very happy with this screen, and the off set opening makes the screen look far better than those that have the opening in the center. It makes for a better view through the screen. Be sure to put the off set opening on the side of the doors handle or door knob. It's easier to go in and out of this way.
