These went on my air hose just fine and they pivot and do exactly the stuff they’re supposed to do. I didn't have any issues with leaking or anything else obvious, so the seal seems to be good so far. It’s really nice to add that little extra bit of flexibility right close to the tool, especially when you’re working in cramped spaces where the hose usually gets in the way. It makes moving the tool around much easier and definitely helps reduce the fighting you have to do with the air hose.

I work in a busy automotive shop and we are very hard on air fittings! This is super rugged and the swivel mechanism is very smooth and leak free.

Reviewing Nihfien NPT Swivel Air Hose Fittings: Over the years I have found air hose swivels to be a great addition to air tools like air nail guns and air chucks. They can eliminate the usual wrestling match with the air hose and help to get the tool into spaces where a rigid assembly just won’t fit.The swivels arrive packed in a sturdy cardboard box with bags around individual items (picture). I took one of the swivels and put it between an air chuck and a short length of hose to try it out. Assembly was straight forward. Note that the swivel has two degrees of movement, described in the listing text but not apparent from the pictures. The silver threaded portion of the swivel is free to spin as well as the joint between the two blue pieces (video). This just about guarantees the joint won’t fight you as you position tools for use. At no time was there any sign of leakage from the swivel joint. It is nice they include couplers that already have sealant applied to the threads as well as including joint tape. I don’t have an immediate need for the hose clamps but they appear well made.Air swivel joints are a great addition to lots of tools and these work perfectly. They appear well made, assemble with no fuss, and should last for many years. The price is attractive and the included accessories are helpful. I can recommend you give these a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic right out of the box with no adjustment needed. I've been using a pistol grip random orbital pneumatic sander quite a lot lately and my right wrist was starting to become really sore.I've used the ball joint style swivels on nail guns before and I can say that the design of this product is much better. The hose just spins about with complete freedom. The movement is incredibly smooth. Hook the hose up to an improvised boom with a little slack and most the weight and strain you've been putting onto your wrists simply disappears.The construction is very high quality with a smooth glossy finish. No air leaks at all and they come with two male universal air hose connectors.I am unsure of the maximum rated pressure but I don't run the sander above 90 psi and I feel completely confident doing that. Excellent product!

The two anodized aluminum swivels and two stainless steel plugs are all good quality, well made, with no leaks or other issues. The red anodized aluminum swivels look great and perform just as well. The chromed steel swivel components are also well made and look great, with clean sharp threads. There's nothing that I don't like about the swivels or the two included stainless steel industrial style plugs, which include applied thread sealing compound.However, I have serious concerns regarding the quality of the included 'Teflon' thread sealing tape. I'm all but certain that it's not actually "Teflon" brand, but what really worries me is that it's so obviously not a good quality tape. It's very thin, low quality sealing tape that may or may not actually be made of PTFE, which is what real 'Teflon' (or other quality branded or non-branded) thread sealing tape is made of. Because I don't trust the quality, I decided to discard it and use some quality thread sealing tape instead.Although I have no use for them at this time, I also have some minor concerns regrading the quality of the included stainless steel hose clamps. They are light duty and seem more fragile and less durable than heavier-duty hose clamps I've ever used for critical applications. The thumbscrew is a nice touch and could be useful in some applications, and I might use them for some low pressure, non-critical application (think: low-pressure garden sprayer, etc.), but not for anything where a secure attachment is more critical.As you can see in my pictures, I'm using these two swivels on the two air connections on an compressor. I installed the included plugs (taking advantage of the applied thread sealing compound) on one side of each swivel, and on the other side of each swivel I added a coupler using a good quality 'Teflon' tape. After several hours there was no indicated drop in air pressure, indicating a good, airtight seal on both swivels.Priced at $16.99, with a 'coupon' price of $15.97 (at the time of this review), these swivels are fairly priced given the included accessories (although purchasing the two swivels and two plugs separately might be priced lower). If you don't need all of the included accessories, two similar (or possibly identical) swivels can be purchased on Amazon for $1 to $2 less, or if you need a larger quantity of (similar, or possibly identical) swivels, without the included accessories, a dozen are available on Amazon for as low as $29.99 ($2.50 each).I'm 100% satisfied with the performance of the two swivels and the included plugs that I received.
