Incredibly strong, magnetic tool holders. Heavy duty clip made out of plastic, not sure how long they will last but it looks like pretty durable material. Designed to hold a single tool either to a belt or mounted too a shelf for or desk. Makes a nice addition to a standard tool belt, I don’t think as a standalone item it would help very much to a mechanic. Mine got mounted in a travel man and are quite handy. I tested them with a 12 inch wrench and it easily held it and would’ve held more. These are really strong magnets.The only downside is they were delivered magnet against magnet with no cardboard in between, and I almost gave up trying to separate them. I couldn’t even slide them apart because of the plastic bag that they were in had too much friction. After a few minutes of struggling, I did succeed, but one simple little piece of cardboard in between would’ve been a nice customer service.

Wow! What a magnet! I tested it clipped over my jeans (not a belt) with a heavy hammer. It thought the weight of the hammer was child's play. Though the clip is plastic, it's super strong. I have complete confidence that this magnetic clip will hold up to anything I throw at it!This will be particularly useful for screws and nails. I seem to drop one every time I try to hold it in my hand as I climb the ladder! Back when I had horses, an extra nail or staple would come out as I pulled one from the belt pouch, and then I was on my hands and knees, feeling around in the grass or hay trying to find it. Boy, would this have come in handy back then!Well worth the price!

These magnetic tool holders will safely hold must common hand tools conveniently at your belt line. They are plenty strong enough to hold tools like a pliers, screwdriver, wrench, small pry bar and even a 16-ounce hammer. However, the iron inside the a 25-foot tape measure is recessed too far inside the tape’s plastic housing, so you’ll have to clip that onto your belt just like you clip on these magnets.

This is good to hold extra screws, bits, or tools. Really it holds anything metal. I got the two inch version and I'm glad I did. This thing holds great! I attached a hammer to it and jumped up and down and it stayed attached. Awesome!

This is such a great invention! My husband is always leaving screws in his pockets and then they go through the laundry and tear holes in things! This is easy to clip on any pants and work well on jeans. It is smaller than I pictured, so I wouldn't use it for things like giant hammers. I would be too worried about knocking larger tools off if I squatted down. However, screws and nails work well and they are not too hard to get off. Magnets are so awesome! I would also not mine using this for pins when I am sewing and moving around a big pattern or quilt.

Yes, it does work for screw and nails, but it is strong enough to hold a small pipe wrench! I'm not talking about "hold still and don't sneeze" capability, this holster clip has a very strong magnet. Yes, the clip is plastic, but I have no concern that it won't hold everything the magnet can.I also tested it holding some small screws, and of course it worked. I tested the 2.6" and think it is a good value for the money.
