Even though this light is new, it really has the look of an antique. They did a very good job with the design.It is very pretty, well made, and definitely does not feel cheap. The brass finish and milk glass shades give it a very authentic vintage look rather than something that just feels inspired by an older style.Installation looks straightforward, and the instructions seem easy enough to follow.At around $95, I think this is a great value for the quality and appearance.This is a lovely fixture, and I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for something with a genuine antique-style look.

They resemble a high end flower vase. The base of this light fixture has a great gold-brass tone, that's not too brassy or gaudy. The overall look is elegant, modern but also has a hint of traditional beauty. The size is perfect for a powder room or a dark corner that needs some light. It's well made and assembled. All the necessary parts were included and the instructions were easy to follow. After removing the old fixture the installation is pretty basic if you're familiar with basic electrical work. Honestly even if you're new to installing light fixtures, it's very simple and easy to do, just turn off the power first. Once installed, you can truly appreciate the beauty of this fixture and the elegance it adds to the space.

It uses standard E26 sockets, which many of you know are standard American light sockets that have been around for more than 100 years, and the manufacturer suggests you shouldn’t use anything larger than a 60 W light bulb.Just as an aside, a 60 W lightbulb is way too large for most bathroom use use the formula that for LED conversion or comparison to incandescent bulbs 100 W old style incandescent lightbulb is equivalent to a 9 W LED bulb therefore if you had 60 W of LED power and each of these globes, you would have the equivalent of 6 1/2 hundred watt lightbulbs coming from each globe that would be a tremendous amount of light to be a floodlight.With this type of light, you’re really two choices. It’s a bathroom light, so there’ll be times when you want a bright light when you’re shaving, applying makeup, and that sort of activity. There are other times when you want it dimmer. Many people if you like me leave it on all night long anyway you don’t wanna dim it down to 10% of full power so I wouldn’t recommend getting a 60 W LED but I would recommend getting probably an 18 W LED that would be a very bright light when you need it and get a dimmer switch is compatible with the lightbulbs that you acquire the lightbulbs are not supplied by the manufacturer so you should get a representation from the management of the company by the lightbulbs from that the demo which you’re buying from them as well is compatible with the lightbulbs.As far as installation is concerned, I’m going to give you three or four tips to make it as easy as possible. I agree with the manufacturer.
