Really cool TV lights! I love the rainbow color rotation behind the TV—it adds such a fun glow and makes movie nights feel a little more special. The colors create a great atmosphere without being too distracting, and they were easy to install. Really cool system. Super easy to install with the 3m tape and brackets. I have a TV that was a bit too big for the kit I ordered (Samsung 75 qled with a 65mm light kit) but just ended up moving in the brackets a few inches and the light strip fit fine. I unfortunately don't have a streaming device or gaming console to plug into it - I'm just using the apps on the TV which it doesn't sync with. I am however able to use the app to turn on the lights on to a single color or various lighting modes until I get something like a fire stick or Roku to route through the HDMI port in the kit. It wasn't clear from the listing whther it could sync with just the TV's HDMI input (it doesn't). The lights are super bright and can be dimmed using the app.

I ordered this because I wanted real-time bias lighting behind my TV, and I wasn't expecting it to make as much of a difference as it does. Installation was pretty easy and I had everything up and running without any major issues. It worked correctly right out of the box, and I only had to make some minor adjustments to the colors, brightness, and softness in the Smart Life app to get it looking the way I wanted.The lights react to what's actually happening on the screen, so the colors change along with the movie or show instead of just being a static backlight. There is a very tiny delay between what's happening on the TV and the lights changing, but it's so fractional that I barely noticed it. I specifically asked the other three people in my family if they could see any delay and none of them could.Once I got the brightness and color dialed in, it really added a ton of life to movies. The lighting extends the colors from the screen into the room and makes the whole picture feel more immersive. Dark scenes, explosions, colorful environments, and scenes with lots of movement all look noticeably more interesting with the lighting reacting around the TV.I also like that it doesn't require me to constantly adjust anything once it's set up. I can just watch TV normally and the lighting follows along automatically.Overall, I'm really impressed with this kit. It was easy to install, worked properly right out of the box, and the small amount of tweaking needed in the app was worth it. The tiny amount of latency isn't something that bothers me at all, and the effect adds a surprising amount of immersion to movies and TV shows. If you're looking for something to make your TV setup feel a lot more immersive without spending a fortune, this is definitely worth considering.

The biggest difference is that the lighting actually reacts to what’s happening on the screen, which makes movies and games feel much more immersive.Color transitions are fast and surprisingly accurate, and the additional RGB plus white LEDs produce nicer whites and more nuanced colors than inexpensive RGB strips.
