I have many high end knives that I'm afraid to use on a daily basis. This one I will carry and use without worrying about it. Apparently BD1N is a nice mid level steel with properties that make it desirable for an EDC knife that one would actually use. The blade stock is thin but it still feels sturdy and the tip is precise but not too fragile. I love the micarta handles as they feel nice in the hand. It looks very refined and makes a nice little gentleman's folder plus its just the right size as not to startle folks. Its not the sharpest knife right out of the box but its sharp enough while still feeling really capable. I like it!

It's a beaut. Really smooth bearings, and plenty sharp out of the box. Size is very nice. I loe the button lock. I hate pocket clips, and prefer it down in my pocket. This one is perfect with no external bumps to irritate me. Great knife for the money.

I like this knife. Learned a few things. Use a 350/1200 diamond stone, and that's it. This blade holds the best edge at a lower grit for everyday use. The metal is very ductile, and it requires either a leather strop or stropping strokes to remove the burr. The burr is super flexible and takes special effort to remove. If you are looking for a super refined edge, this is not it. It is easy to sharpen, but long term edge retention is not found on this knife. The trade-off of having a very easy to sharpen metal. Build quality is fantasitic, knife is comfortable, and fits super well in the pocket. It is just enough knife for a no hassle compact every chore knife.

I love these kizer knives. I've been collecting knives for years and I'm always looking for that perfect edc knife and these guy that bill. Light weight, sharp and I love the button lock. I've already purchased another one and will probably purchase more.

This knife is outstanding. I have many knives, 3 from Kizer, I have Benchmades and plenty of Spyderco etc. I can say that for the value this knife if the best of value and quality. Super sharp, nice handle and a great locking mechanism. You cannot beat the price for the features. I like the BD1N steel so far, it's really sharp.
