Now these bags are what you need for your attic woes. The setup I had used previously was with a larger bag that was too big to move so I had to have the vacuum down below with 3 10' extensions just to reach the area I was working. These make life much easier. Not only are they sturdy and easy to move around, I kept my machine in the attic while moving around which basically made it a 1 man job. The bags fit perfectly with my setup too and haven't leaked any dust since removing them from the attic. Portable, easy to use and sturdy. And for the money you end up spending it's a no brainer specially if you're just trying to clear up a room or two at a time.

This bag made a messy job a lot easier. It holds a surprising amount, and I liked that it felt tough enough to handle being dragged around and filled up. The material is thicker than I expected, and it worked well with the hose setup. Nice size, easy to work with, and it saved a lot of trips back and forth.

This is a good bag for holding removed insulation. The bag is strong and will hold quite a lot - says 400 pounds. Great to he able to remove your insulation right into this bag to minimize handling.

The bag is big enough for a small room area of insulation. It seems to be sturdy enough and hopefully durable enough to not break during use. I’ll have to get a few more to get all of the old insulation out of my attic.

I’m not sure if discovering these bags was good for me.I didn’t realize there was an entire world of high static-pressure insulation vacuums that can suck whole R-30 batts out of an attic, rodent contamination and all, chop everything up, and compact it into giant collection bags outside.Compared to trying to stuff insulation into standard contractor bags, it’s a completely different universe.If you’ve ever done insulation removal the traditional way, you know the routine: two batts in, fight the bag, compress the bag, overfill the bag, drag the bag, tear the bag, repeat.These bags are designed for the equipment that does all the hard work for you.The material feels durable, the seams appear well made, and the size is impressive in person. They’re intended to hold a tremendous amount of material, which is exactly the point.What I particularly appreciate is that they’re non-woven and breathable enough for insulation-removal applications while still being strong enough to handle the weight involved.Will I be buying a commercial insulation vacuum tomorrow?Only time will tell.Have I spent more time than I should have watching videos of insulation removal systems since discovering these bags exist?Absolutely.Am I prepared for when I eventually impulse purchase one of these vacuums?Definitely.

This is a large vacuum bag for removing insulation. It holds 105 cubic feet of material, so I expect it will be large enough to handle a small attic space above my kitchen, but probably is not large enough to do the larger attic above my house. I think I will need three bags in total for all of it. Maybe 4. There's a lot of insulation.You need a specialized vacuum that you can rent, or rig up something with like an old blower or something which is my plan. That said, of course, safety precautions, including knowing what type of insulation you're removing, PPE, ventilation, and so forth is vital to use there.This appears to be a good quality bag. It will hold insulation while letting air out so you can really fill the bag. It says up to 400 lbs, which is another important point. All that insulation is heavy, so you also have to ensure the bag is somewhere you can get it OUT of the house. You can not put this in the attic with you, or it will be stuck there once it's full. Under $22 for a bag is not a horrible deal although I have seen multipacks that lower the per unit price a bit.
