ProsI like this gold-finish crystal ceiling light, which has the look of a small chandelier. I ordered the gold color, and it is a beautiful combination of glass and metal. I ordered it for my laundry room or one of my guest bathrooms because I think it will go really well with the green paint I am planning to use in those areas. I can already see how this gold accent could make my small bathroom look really amazing and elevate the overall decor. I really like the quality, and installation should be very simple. There is no assembly required; you simply have to hang it and connect the wiring. It is also a great option for an entryway, and I think it would look really elegant there as well.ConsIt requires a dimmable E26 bulb and is compatible with a dimmer switch. However, the bulb and dimmer switch are not included, so I still need to purchase both before I can install it. Also this gold color is not exactly gold, it feels like a mix of yellow and orange.

I am in an apartment, so what I can change is limited to non permanent items. I have a nice ceiling fan in the dining room, but the shade on it is one of those ugly faux glass white domes from the 70's; tough to take down to clean and not matching a plug in chandelier I have, or battery sconces ( that have this same exact shade type on them, what are the odds of that?) Perfecto! I got this and replaced the original dome ( which I can put back when/if I leave) and it looks great. super easy to do. I did not need the actual lamp guts , just the shade, but for 15 $$ and change this was much less than getting just a shade and larger as well. It would be a perfect score except that one of the acrylic panels was loose from the top little nail thingy, and I had to do a drop of glue to get it re-attached. No perspiration though, it was easy to fix. So a good choice even if you just need the shade. Cheers.
