Build quality 10/10Durability 10/10Sex appeal 400/10Made my espresso taste like pure extasy, made all other coffee before taste like dirt water. The polished steel let's the cremation flow like ambrosia in Valhalla, the walnut handle as sturdy as mount vesuvius, the polished perfectly finished lock nut, fits tighter than the glove OJ tried on in court.

Gorgeous, loving it so far and Honestly I can't complain. For small record, I own about 5 portafilters, from unibody, to transition basket one, and then your basic norm core ones. My primary was the norm core in all black, but this one will be taking its place. This portafilter just feels really nice, the metal ends with wooden accent gives it that premium look and feel that you'd want. Then there's the angled handle, which I didn't think I would care about, but honestly, I love it and now it's hard to see the regular portafilters the same. The only thing I probably won't use because it looks too generic and I don't want to mess with dialing my coffee too often, is the basket. The basket is very generic looking, like a cheaper Ikape ones with thin steel at top and more thick layer under. I just don't trust it to be too consistent so I'll stick to my precision baskets instead. Overall good value portafilter, I think it competes with big boy of budget accessories if you know who that it.

I recently purchased this portafilter for my Profitec Pro 300. The listing headline specifically mentions Profitec and ECM models (same manufacturer) so I had high hopes for a perfect fit. Although I honestly should have known better due to a glaring typo in the Amazon listing. This portafilter arrived nicely packaged and even better looking than what I expected. Heavy and rock solid build looks and feels very substantial and classy in my prosumer espresso setup. However, my partial disappointment comes from the fact that this portafilter does NOT lock in straight on to my Profitec machine. I suppose it is "compatinle" with Profitec, but NOT compatible. Thankfully it is still usable, it just twists on to the group head to about 60-75 degrees depending on how aggressive you go attempting to tighten in to a straight angle. For a reference, my Normcore bottomless portafilter fits about the same way except they do not advertise full compatibility with Profitec and ECM machines. I am taking only one star off for this with the understanding that for the level of prosumer setup I own, I should strictly speaking only be purchasing Profitec/ECM brand accessories. With that in mind, this bottomless portafilter may very well be as good as it gets for an offbrand fit.

This has quickly become my new favorite portafilter for my Flair 58. Yes - it fits perfectly. It's also dramatically more robust than the included portafilter from Flair, as well as two others I have from other popular brands you may see online. The weight of the portafilter feels great while you're using it and doesn't necessarily change the quality of the espresso in your cup, but it helps you feel like you aren't playing with a toy when locking in your portafilter.I use the Flair High Extraction basket and this fit perfectly in the LILQ. The angle of the portafilter pointing slightly downward was helpful in ensuring the portafilter would fit, but as another reviewer points out does create some potential issues with tamping mats if you are expecting a fully flat bottom. For my tamping station, I merely had to use an included rubber insert to raise the basket and allow the handle space to decline.I have been using this portafilter daily for nearly a month and couldn't be happier. Easy recommendation!

I’ve been using this E61 bottomless portafilter on my older ECM Casa, and the fit is excellent. I did test it on my newer GE Profile, which uses the same grouphead size, but the tabs were just a bit too large. It’s worth calling out so buyers stick to the machine lines listed in the product description. In terms of build quality, this thing is heavy, solid, and genuinely beautiful. You can feel every action you take: locking in, removing, adjusting. The walnut handle is cleanly finished and looks even better with a touch of mineral oil. The thicker‑wall body really does hold heat longer, which helps keep extraction temperatures stable and consistent. The product really does look and feel premium. The angled head is one of those features you don’t realize you needed until you use it. It makes popping the portafilter into and out of the grouphead noticeably easier and improves visibility during extractions. The trade‑off is that anything designed to hold your portafilter perfectly flat may need a slight adjustment because of that angle, in my case, I added some height for the balance and pulled my tray slightly over the edge of the counter to make space for the handle. Not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of.The included 18–20g basket is well‑made and performs reliably across roast levels. Combined with the polished stainless steel and the ergonomic handle, this is easily one of the nicest bottomless portafilters I’ve used.

This 58mm, walnut and stainless steel Portafilter by LILQ is an exceptionally crafted and thoughtfully designed portafilter. The 18-20G basket features thick, durable, metal in the basket holder for improved thermal stability. Compared to other brands, this one definitely retains heat longer. The angled portafilter head enables the portafilter to be inserted and removed from the grouphead with ease.
