These are simple toggle clamps, but they work exactly as they should. The metal construction feels sturdy, and the zinc plated finish gives them a decent quality appearance while also providing some protection against rust.The quick release mechanism works smoothly and makes it easy to clamp and release something with one hand. Once locked down, they provide a solid grip and good stability. I also like that the pressure tip is adjustable, which makes them useful with different material thicknesses.These are especially handy for woodworking jigs and fixtures, but they could easily be used on a drill press, workbench, welding fixture, or anywhere else you need something held consistently in the same position. The handles are comfortable and provide a good grip. They are a little small, but it works for 80% of my needs.At $12 for four clamps, the value is excellent. Versatile, easy-to-use quick set and release toggle clamps. Great holding power. Easy to set and release.I've been using these kinds of clamps forever. I like to use them on a router table to quickly clamp wood down for box joints.These kinds of clamps don't have a huge amount of force, so they are easy to mount with just flat-head wood screws.The side-to-side throw and thickness adjustments are easy to make. I usually only have to adjust them once for a given thickness of wood and can use them with many cuts.The rubber stopper grips down tightly on the wood being cut. For the backside of the router fence, I put down a strip of sandpaper to help hold clamped wood in place.There is a little extra play to these, but nothing more than expected. The rivets and steel are strong.I expect that many woodworkers would get a lot of value from using these clamps for many clamping situations. They are effortless to use and release when the task is done.These are well built and a significant value for their utility and quality.
