The primary use for this is as a motion-activated light. If set on "Auto", the photo sensor prevents it from turning on if the area is already lit. If set to "On" then it functions like any other dusk-dawn light. There are two small buttons to toggle between three color temperatures (orangeish, warm white, bluish white), and three brightness levels. Pets will activate the light if it's plugged into a low outlet.

Just completed a compact ½ bath next to a guest room. Because some expected use would be late night, we wanted guests to not fumble with the switch location for bright mirror lights. The LED motion sensor light is very tasteful and shined up and down, not at you. The light comes on with the door opening motion…perfect for guests.

It’s nice and bright. For some reason the light is loose in our outlets. Not sure if it’s because it’s heavy. Otherwise a good night light.
