I’m a custom woodworker. I bought these brackets for an outdoor trash can enclosure I made. The brackets are not bent square. They’re slightly bent on an angle and some are better than others. And so they don’t sit flush. Great finish quality but I wouldn't buy these again for my projects.

Let’s talk about these bad boys. I’ll be honest I didn’t expect much ordering them blindly on Amazon, I was going to just use them to fix a structure that doesn’t have much longer on the property. But when these brackets arrived it’s clear they are heavy duty. Each bracket is pretty heavy. Thick construction and a decent powder coat. I wouldn’t want to drop one of these on my foot, that’s how heavy they are. Looking forward to building with them.

I'm building a 'cabin' in the woods for the daughter of a friend, and these are what I'm going to use to connect the frame to the deck. 300 lbs? Just from the weight alone, they feel like that should be 3000 lbs.I love that the screw holes are counter-sunk! So I won't have screw heads sticking up, the way I have with other L brackets that I've used. And the coating seems top-notch -- thick and smooth -- so I'm not going to worry about rust at all.At a big box home improvement store, I'd expect to get something half as good, and pay twice as much for it. If I'd known about these, I would have used them on the mount for my solar panels. Come to think of it, I might go ahead and get more, to replace what I did use.

These brackets are extremely heavy duty. I was surprised by how thick and substantial they are.I ordered them for repairs on a covered porch of a cabin we have, and I think they're going to be perfect for the job. These are not lightweight brackets by any stretch of the imagination. I included photos with a standard size pair of scissors so you can get an idea of how big these are!The galvanized finish looks good which is great since they'll be exposed to the weather. The holes are already drilled, so they'll be ready to go when we start the project.We're not at the installation stage yet, but based on what arrived, I'm very happy with them.
