I used this 6 AWG cable for a LiFePO4 inverter installation and was very happy with it. The cable is flexible and easy to route, even in tighter spaces, which made installation much easier. Impressively good cable. This is appropriately labeled on the jacket as 6AWG for 600v and 105°C. It is very fine stranded copper, making it really flexible despite being in PVC instead of Silicone. The ends are capped to keep it in great shape through shipping and storage prior to use. Good value for a good cable.

lets be honest. 6 awg wire is not needed in most 12v situations. i tend to prefer working in 8 and 10. for a battery hook up however, 6 is a great choice. this wire is thick and heavy with a great protective sheath. i like my cables joined but at this size separate cables seems to be the norm. the cables are a flexible as awg can be and the pure copper is good to have. I hooked this up with some battery connections and my lipo fed the RV with no issue.

This is a good quality wire suitable for a variety of projects requiring high currents. It is fine stranded and flexible. I'm not equipped for chemical analysis, but a casual inspection didn't fins anything looking like aluminum. I picked this up to connect a 12V LiFePO4 auxiliary battery to a 1000W inverter in my overland rig, and the quality is outstanding. As the run is only 5ft in length 6 AWG is right on the money.Material & Performance:The fact that this is 100% genuine Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) and not cheap copper-clad aluminum (CCA) is crucial for high-current DC setups. Running a 1000W inverter pulls right around 95–100 Amps continuous at full load. Because this pure copper wire has incredibly low resistance, it handles the current beautifully with minimal voltage drop. We picked up this set of 6 AWG cables for some solar electrical upgrades in our RV for our travel channel. This wire is high-quality oxygen-free copper (OFC), which is essential for high-current DC applications where you want to minimize voltage drop.The copper strands are very fine and densely packed. While we often prefer silicone for its extreme flexibility, the PVC jacket on this wire is actually quite impressive. It is a bit more rigid and has more "memory" than silicone, but the trade-off is that the PVC feels significantly more durable and abrasion-resistant. This is a big plus when you are routing cables through an RV chassis where they might rub against edges.
