Clean Finish

[Number of Items: 12]
So far, I've been pleased with this Baltic birch plywood. I've only used about three sheets so far, but after looking through the entire pack, the overall quality appears to be very consistent. The surfaces are smooth and clean, making them well suited for laser engraving, cutting, and other craft projects. There is a slight amount of cupping on a few of the sheets, but it's minor and not enough to cause problems for my projects. The boards were bundled nice and tight, which likely helped minimize any warping.Overall, this is a good-quality plywood pack at a reasonable value. If the remaining sheets perform as well as the first few, I'll be very happy with the purchase.

Good quality for price

These worked with the Xtool S1. They engraved and cut well. I made a few wall signs. Used the 3mm plywood setting.A few pieces had a slight warp to them, but nothing that caused any issues with engraving. They were packed very nicely. The laser cut through the wood just fine without burning too much with the right settings.I haven't tried to use them as wooden models yet, but they are nice quality. They stain well also and I was able to paint a few.

The sheets are clean, no knots or grain issues, NO WARPING - really - these are as flat as can possibly be - perfect for laser cutting ( what I am using them for ) THIS is how craft wood should be - exceptional quality. Smooth, no splinters - I am super impressed.

Precision Craft Material: 3mm Baltic Birch Plywood 12-Pack

[Number of Items: 12]
Baltic birch plywood has become the laser cutting and crafting community's preferred material over basswood sheets for one straightforward reason — the cross-laminated layer construction provides genuine structural strength that single-ply basswood lacks, resulting in cleaner cuts, less chipping, and finished pieces that hold up to handling without the fragility that thin basswood projects develop. This 12-pack of 3mm 12×12 inch sheets provides the supply depth that ongoing laser cutting and wood burning projects require.Pros• Cross-laminated construction provides genuine structural strength superior to single-ply basswood• 3mm/1/8" thickness is the standard specification for most consumer laser cutters and engravers• 12"×12" size accommodates most hobby laser cutter bed dimensions without modification• 12-pack quantity provides project supply depth without frequent resupply interruption• Suitable for laser cutting, wood burning, and general craft applications beyond laser-specific useCons• Laser cutting parameters (speed, power) require calibration specific to this material thickness• Plywood layer visibility on cut edges differs aesthetically from solid wood — relevant for finished appearance• 12-pack storage requires flat, dry conditions to prevent warping before use• Wood burning heat application should account for the adhesive layers between plies• Quality consistency across the 12-pack should be verified for warping or layer separation on deliveryVerdict: An excellent craft material supply for laser cutting and wood burning enthusiasts who have experienced the chipping and fragility frustrations of basswood sheets. The cross-laminated Baltic birch construction produces cleaner cuts and more durable finished pieces, and the 12-pack at the standard 12×12 inch hobby laser bed size provides genuine project supply depth. A worthwhile material upgrade for any serious laser cutting or wood burning hobbyist.

Reliable Craft Wood for Laser Projects With Consistent Results

[Number of Items: 12]
I was running low on material for my laser engraving projects and decided to try this Baltic birch plywood, and it worked out perfectly for what I needed. The sheets are a good size for small projects and handled engraving and cutting very well. Most of the sheets were flat and in great condition. Only one had a slight warp, but it was minor and did not affect my ability to use it for any of my work. The rest were consistent and easy to work with, which is important when doing precise laser projects.Overall, this is a solid option for crafting and laser engraving. It performs well, is easy to work with, and offers good value for a multi pack. I would definitely purchase it again for future projects.

Great quality!Great quality!

The product pictures on the page do not do this wood justice. I expect something with splinters and rough edges but the wood came out of the packaging looking great! All sized accurately and perfectly smooth. I was able to cut it with a sharp retractable knife by running it along a straight edge a few times and then snapping it. Resulted in a rough edge that could be easily sanded down. Really happy with this purchase. It is a little pricey for 12 sheets, but the quality made it worth while.

Good for cutting, scoring, engraving, and more. Smooth clean wood, no knots or irregularities

I have an older, slower laser engraver (ATOMSTACK A5 M40 40 Watts) and this thicker harder wood still worked great though multiple passes were needed for cutting. This wood is ideal for cutting, scoring, or engraving. For reference, here are the settings I used on my Atomstack for cutting:Power: 100%Speed: 150 mm per minutePasses: 5 passesIt's plywood, and appears to be 3 layers -- birch on the outsides, and a plywood layer on the inside. On the inside, I did not see any void pockets or glue knots. The surface is finished and reasonably smooth -- not sanded, but definitely no splinters. The surface birch has a very subtle grain, not raised at all, and definitely no knots, bumps, or imperfections. It's a nice flat surface to work on. I didn't find any sap inside or out.And it's good for a wide range of crafts beyond laser engraving, such as wood burning pen, or even general crafts.I think it's a good value for a smooth, workable, and durable wood.
