Awesome 3 piece chisel set for my sds hammer drill. 3 piece set at a great price makes this a good buy for me. I love the wide chisel face, makes my work move easily and more quickly. Chisel face is thick enough to last for several times of use before having to clean up with a grinder. Steel bits are sturdy, durable and strong.

I either misread the listing or wasn't paying close enough attention when ordering, because I was expecting SDS Plus bits and these turned out to be SDS Max. As most tool users know, those are two completely different shank sizes, so be sure to double-check before ordering.Fortunately, it wasn't a problem for me. I have an adapter as well as an SDS Max rotary hammer available, so I was still able to put these to use.As for the chisels themselves, they appear to be very well made. The steel looks durable, the machining is clean, and they feel solid in hand. The set gives you multiple point chisels, which is handy when tackling concrete, brick, block, or demolition work.I haven't put them through heavy use yet, but based on my first impressions, they seem like quality tools that should hold up well. I'll be putting them to the test on some upcoming projects, and so far I'm optimistic they'll perform as expected.The only reason for mentioning the SDS Max size is so other buyers don't make the same mistake I did. If you need SDS Max chisels, this appears to be a good value set.

When I opened the package and pulled this chisel out, I just went, “Wow!” I’ve never had a chisel this big before. So cool! Solid all the way through. It has the SDS Max shank form, but I don’t have that type of hammer tool and will just be using it by hand. It doesn’t have much of a taper at the end or a dimple, but with a shank this thick, I don’t think there’s any reason to worry about mushrooming.I’ll be using it at first to chisel out some stones that were cemented into place as walkways that need to be removed. The shape of the chisel will make it especially good for prying out the stones—better than a crowbar. I’ve also got some concrete to deal with, and this also will be useful when I get around to some wall building. On top of that, it’s just fun to hold in my hand! Looks like it’ll require constant sharpening, but it’s made for very hard work.
