Great brackets and the coating looks to be very solid for outdoor use. Installed on some post for reinforced strength as they had to much movement for my liking. They tightened them up as expected.

If you have two pieces of wood that you want to meet at a right angle, and you don't want that angle to change, ever, then this is the product for you.I do a lot of bricolage construction (i.e., making structures out of whatever is lying around -- pallets, unused wood from old projects, unsawn logs, wood salvaged from other structures, and so on). These are perfect for that. I use these, for example, to attach new pallet walls to existing ones. I know that if the old one won't move, the new one won't either, because 'heavy duty' doesn't begin to describe the connection that these give you.The coating is smooth and even, and will keep the weather from corroding the steel underneath. The steel itself is higher quality than a lot of 'alloys' that are used for similar products. The holes are countersunk, which keeps screw heads from sticking out. That's a small thing, but an important one.And the price is very reasonable. It would be great if they offered bulk packages (like maybe a dozen, or two dozen), though, because these are fantastic thing to have around when new opportunities for building come up.

Very good quality heavy duty exterior L-bracket. Rating says 160 pounds however this can probably hold much more than that. It has a black baked on paint coat that can stand up to the elements. The 90s are all bent square. Fair value for a four pack of these is in the $10-$15 range. I’m planning to use these to hold up some cross beams in the garden that will support potted plants and herbs.
